Reviews for Shanghai Hotels

Dayin International Youth Hostel(East Nanjing Road & The Bund)
4.6/55640 Reviews
People's Square
The hostel exceeded my expectations. Could not relate to the bad reviews about permanent residents dirtying up the place. I didn't encounter any of them. But I did stay in winter, so maybe there were less people. The common area is huge and comfortable. There's a water dispenser in the common area, and also a large collection of beer and drinks. The room can be a little small, but it's sufficient. I've stayed in worse places. The locations is also perfect. Just a stone's throw away from Nanjing Road, and 5 min walk from People's Square station. I see no reason why I would not stay here again.
D Coffee Youth Apartment

Train Station Area
My experience here is great. Very clean and nice place located just right near by Shanghai railway station. I would be even happier if you have free instant coffee and tea as well as some snacks in the future.
Hidden Garden Hostel

Lujiazui Area
I stayed here for 1 day and found everything very new, the garden was beautiful and there was a cute cat. But my room is a bit dark, has no windows and it's quite difficult to breathe, but I usually go out to play and only come back to sleep at night so that doesn't affect me. 4.9/5

Weflow Hostel (Shanghai Hongkou)

North Sichuan Road Commercial Area
I came here once when I was traveling last year and the experience was very good, so I came here directly when I was looking for a job this time. The big and small bags were equivalent to moving. Many people helped me move my luggage along the way. I am very grateful to them. When I arrived at the store, it was two in the morning. When I ordered, there was someone guarding me. He was a thin boy. I was quite embarrassed with my bags. When he wanted to help me carry my luggage, I refused. I didn’t expect that he looked so thin and strong. It was me. The most relaxed person I met on the road carrying my bag, awesome! I heard that I had been here before and I don’t know who helped me upgrade my room. Thank you very much. At least it made me feel stable and comfortable during the few days when my job was not confirmed. Not to mention the environment in the store, it is very clean. When I go out, I am more concerned about the quality of my sleep. The sheets and quilts here are changed by one person. The aunt is also very nice. I often see her cleaning. The most important thing is He is the boss, he is very kind, always smiling, and has a sense of intimacy that makes him a friend from all over the world. The store also smells good. I thought it was the smell of the boy, but I didn't expect it to be the environment of the entire store. The quality of roommates is generally high, and there are quite a few foreigners.
Beehome Hostel

Lujiazui Area
BeeHome has been my favourite simple place to stay in Shanghai since 2007. It is simple. The water pressure isn’t great. But the location is wonderful. With development in the area I only hope it is still there for my next trip
Dengba Inn (Shanghai Flagship)
4.3/51603 Reviews
Jing'an District
Once more I tried to stay in a hostel in China, but again I got disappointed. Even choosing the room to 4 people and private bathroom, the room was a messy, girls used the bathroom to dry clothes and small towels that I don’t know for what they used it. They don’t know what is silence time, there is a social area outside, but they prefer to talk inside the room... In overall, the experience was worse because of the roomates. The bathroom is very small and dirty.
Mijia Youth Hotel (Shanghai Hongqiao Luohe Luo Shop)

Hongqiao District
The room is clean, the bedding is clean, and the bathroom is neatly decorated. The lounge hall is elegantly decorated, clean and tidy. The decoration style is visually clean and tidy, and the rest and office infrastructure in the lobby is fully equipped, including free chargers and hot water bottles. Shopping and eating around are very convenient

Shanghai Disney Resort
Very good location for one night sleep before Disneyland. We arrived at night time. Our key was just lying on a piece of paper with our room number. And we checked out at 8 am. Good place. Haden't any interaction with the staff. The entry floor has a bar in front of the reception. It was very dirty and smelled alcohol. but the room was clean.
