Super 8 by Wyndham Ames

This building needs a complete rebuild! Rooms were old, fridge made horrible noise that kept us up all night. Stained carpet, room smelled horrible! Holes in wall I wouldnt recommend this Super 8 to anyone!

Motel was dirty. Mold behind the toilet. Hole in the wall. Door lock to the bathroom was terrible if you locked it you got locked I side and had a terrible time getting it unlocked. Dangerous for young children. Light bulbs out of lamps. We asked the front desk to replace. Outlet in bathroom foes not look up to code. And very loud shouting and slamming of doors coming from the next door room at 2 am. We had to call and ask gor someone to come remove them.

Saw a good amount of bugs in my room. Didn’t feel the best about that, but for the price it was a satisfactory experience. Thank you!

Room definitely not clean: floor in bathroom, drywall chunks on carpet. Wall in bathroom had gunk on it Could hear all people walking through hallway, hear all toilets flushing, something was beeping in hallway all night. By daylight, the property was a little sketch. Wont stay here again. Should have driven the 2.5 hours home.

Glad that the property was still available, as the other one had cancelled my reservation.

Not handicap accessible for other floors, had bugs crawling around ceiling, walls and on the bed with dead bugs on the floor. Did not get room that I had booked due to not being handicapped accessible, not willing to accommodate, came in and said $10/pet and had bunnies in cages that were trying to stay warm. When saw pet friendly there was no mention of charging that I saw. They told me I cannot release bunnies in the room or get them out of cage), wouldn't believe us about the bugs and said needed pictures but never took any. Said window must be open to have them come in but made my daughter check as they didn't want to come in themselves. Window closed. Gave us a new room, briefly looked it over and left. Floors were dirty along with part of the tub. Ceiling had brown splatters along with a little of the wall. Cigarette burn on the cover. Light switch on wall controlled the power to the outlets and on the lamps. Had to leave lights on. Person wouldn't talk to me and would direct to my daughter as I was disabled and couldn't speak. Didn't matter if I wrote things down since they didn't understand sign language. Had walker and they made me feel discriminated. In the morning, had to return key cards to them prior to checking out and if not will get charged. In first room, fridge wouldn't close as it was frozen open and broke. Had I known I was going to have all these problems, I would have cancelled the reservation and went elsewhere.

the room was filthy, no screen on the window, no elevators and we were on the 3rd floor. You could enter the building without a key. Horrible place to stay.

Our non-smoking room smelled of smoke, there were substantial stains on bed skirt, and chair, the bathroom tub and sink finishes were completely wore off, of the 5 combined outlets only 2 of them worked. The bed mattress had visible indents and was extremely uncomfortable.

This hotel was really bad- multiple issues in our room in addition to just the poor condition of the hotel overall. I will admit going in with low expectations but this place managed to drop below those.
