Carimar Beach Club

As soon as we arrived at Carimar Beach Resort we knew we had made the right choice in accommodations. The grounds and spacious unit met and exceeded our expectations. The pictures we saw on the internet when choosing this resort were very accurate. The unit comes equipped with EVERYTHING! The kitchen includes coffee, creamer and spices. Just add your own groceries. The local grocery store is a quick 15 minute walk. The air conditioning was powerful and quiet. Our king bed was very comfortable. The water view from our unit was somewhat obscured but we loved the privacy of our balcony. Housekeeping took good care of us daily and the front desk arranged a car rental for us. Meads Bay is lovely and having our own chairs and umbrellas was a great extra. We would definitely return to Anguilla and The Carimar Beach Resort again.

Carimar Beach Club is an excellent place to stay, and in a great location. Everything is clean. The beach and water are spectacular. Quite a few amenities, like beach chairs and umbrella reserved for you on the beach. The people in the front office are friendly and helpful. Thank you for everything, which is too much to list.

Carimar is a beautiful resort on Meads Bay with direct access to a beautiful beach. The staff is very attentive to their guests. The units are newly updated and beautifully decorated. The location is excellent with many restaurants and beach bars in walking distance. Highly recommend Carimar for your stay in Anguilla

Our recent stay at Carimar was simply perfect! The unit made us feel as if we were at home, while actually being in paradise. The property is well kept and the staff is exceptionally attentive and friendly. You are surrounded by landscape that includes beautiful flowers and trees which completes this piece of paradise. Can’t wait till next year!

It was a wonderful stay and the place was absolutely beautiful - we so much enjoyed it as the accommodations were excellent and amenities outstanding. We are already planning our next trip down and looking forward to another week in paradise.

This is a great low key hotel. We definitely do not like to have people waiting on us and we don't like to go out to the restaurants every night spending an extra 13% on government taxes which are new this year. We love the fact that we have our own kitchen and we can cook whatever we want. They have brand new gas grills to use to. Last night we had nine of our family over and we had such a great time having dinner all together. We couldn't do that at another hotel. Everything is clean and fresh in the gardens are beautiful. The beach is awesome. The housekeeping staff is very very friendly. Everyone here seems to know each other. It's like coming to your second home. That's an experience you can't get in a regular hotel. It's not posh like some of the high-end hotels but neither is the price. It's just so relaxing and you can be who you are and walk around in shorts and bare feet. We've been coming every year for years and definitely will keep coming back.

Staying at the Carimar Resort for a Girls Trip was a great decision. The resort staff was accommodating and personable. The small resort (24 units) was relaxing and friendly. The location on the beach was wonderful! Highly would recommend it to all.

Beautiful beach. Apartments with a kitchen. Not a large property. Not for children. No restaurant but restaurants nearby. Nothing very far away. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Guest laundry. Daily maid service. Many repeat customers.

I've had Carimar on my bucket list for a long time and we finally got to visit last week. Check in and check out were fantastic. The room was very spacious and clean. I pre-ordered some groceries that were in the room when we arrived. We stayed in a 1 bedroom ocean front room which was an amazing view. The water here is just perfect. They offer pool noodles or floats for the ocean. We made it to the managers cocktail party on our first night and met some amazing people who seem to be regulars at Carimar. The staff are all very friendly and extremely accommodating as are the Anguillan people. Everyone we encountered from the island were friendly. Carimar was at capacity but felt like there were only a few guests. The beach chairs were mostly empty. The best part is that your name is reserving beach chairs right in front of your room so no getting up early to fight for a good spot. Snorkeling was kind of a waste of time. There were a couple schools of fish near the rocks, but that was about it. Not much to see under water here. We had a bad experience at Blanchard's Shack on our first visit so we ended up walking further down the road for lunches and bought drinks at the grocery store for the beach. It took my husband 45 minutes to get one frozen cocktail, so we didn't go back. Straw Hat and Sharky's (grilled lobster) were our favorite dinners and Straw Hat had a good breakfast too. I suggest going to Four Seasons sunset lounge to watch the sunset. We also had dinner one night at Cip's at Cap Juluca. I suggest going to at least one of their restaurants as the grounds were amazing.
