We were enroute from Burgundy to Paris. The hotel has character, unlike the typical chain. The building is old, and this creaky floors are all over the hotel. We didn't get a view of the canal, but I can imagine the rooms with a view of the canal would be much more pleasant. We had rooms facing the parking lot. We only stayed for one night, and didn't really use any of the hotel facilities. The bathrooms are small....like almost unable to turn.

Right in the old town of Auxerre, it has its own parking lot, the breakfast is very special, and the rooms are quaint.

Well located: less than 15 minutes walking from the train station and close to the activities. Nice little hotel with decent amenities. Room is fairly big.
Only negative is the king bed is actually two small beds stuck together.

Great location opposite the river. On site parking at €13.50 but well worth the cost. Staff were very friendly and polite. Room was good although no internet available. Walkable to all sites. Breakfast was plentiful and great variety. Well worth a visit.
