Le Monet has a great location inside Camp John Hay in Baguio. Restaurants, convenience stores, shops, and even horseback riding are just steps away. They serve a good breakfast buffet with enough variety over the three nights we stayed. Their front desk and restaurant staff are all very efficient and professional. Requests for services/additional items needed in our room were handled in a prompt manner. My issue with the hotel is the hotel itself. The pool was filthy. We asked when it was cleaned, and the staff member at the pool actually said he didn't know. Our room was comfortable enough with a functional refrigerator and basic toiletries, but wasn't well-maintained. Despite supposedly having an in-room safe, none was available. When we inquired, they just said it was pulled out. While the weather was fortunately pleasant enough that air conditioning was not needed, the air cooler provided in the room is really noisy. But if you turn it off, the noise from the streets is what will bother you instead. The balcony was filthy, as were the provided metal chairs in it (see picture). It's reasonably priced for its location, but in major need of a renovation.
