Loved the history of this wonderful ancient home, and the manager does go out of her way to meet your needs. Very charming, and fits the atmosphere in the lovely old town!

It was wonderful to stay in a home built in 1895. Staying there gave me a sense of Georgia history.

Beautiful historical house with a nice decor. We had commodore suite with private bath. Breakfast was delicious. The house had great homey ambiance. We really enjoyed it and the walk in the little Bainbridge downtown.

Nice place. Only concern is that doors to room do not lock. The front door to the house locks, but not the room itself.

Never stayed due to safety ( no lock bedroom door) and cleanliness concern. Could be a beautiful home with renovations and updates

The breakfast was excellent and the room and house very nicely decorated. We couldn’t figure out how to lock the door of the green room, but otherwise had no problems. A nice stay and would come back!

It a 100+ year old house that has been converted to a B&B yet has retained the charm and character of the house as it was lived in with period furniture and decorations. If you are looking luxury go somewhere else, however, if you are looking for something peaceful and clean with friendly staff then this is your place. Did I mention it is very clean.

Had an amazing stay at the Commodore! Sherrie was such a gracious host. She made sure everything was perfect for me. I did appreciate the coffee and bottle water in the room. The bed was so comfy and I slept loke a baby. The breakfast in the morning was soooooo good 😉. The house was very clean and nicely appointed with some amazing antiques. I felt like I was transported in time. I look forward to returning & will definitely stay again.
