Great room. Amazing breakfast. Experience for me was spoiled by the ridiculous dress code that you only hear about when you get to your room. A bit difficult if you book last minute and haven't packed long trousers or shoes!! You buy this place for the views but to do anything on the upper floors, you need the clothes, even for kids!!. The ”dome” that is central to their marketing hype, was closed for renovations. No word of this either until you try to access it when you are there. That, and the over-zealous staff who will first try to enforce the dress code policy .....but then try to sell you the overpriced drinks when they actually realise that they don't have any customers!! And parking is very very strange and difficult

Well this is a lovely experience staying here in the fabulous hotel…. Everything was of the highest quality and staff are very professional and friendly went to roof top and had a good look around plus soaked the experience up breakfast was ridiculous….. so so much to choose from .. balcony was lovely sat out at nite and this morning…. Ascott Sathorn is in a wonderful location, so convenient with skyrail outside the door but this comes with it’s negatives, the hotel is SO noisy throughout the night, I sleep with white noise and the constant rumble, music and sirens weren’t masked by the white noise, for me this is such a downside and for that reason I wouldn’t return back to this hotel… I did ask for a quiet room and I wouldn’t consider this quiet but maybe it is compared to rooms on a lower floor! Pool and breakfast opening times are really good, we liked how early we could go for a swim! (Or eat)!!! Service was generally okay, check in was slow and I was pushed into signing up for some rewards despite mentioning my husband already had an account, and was told we’d receive two drinks but never did… Apart from that everything was great!

Hotel was newly renovated and really really nice. Room is big and clean, equipment very nice and convenient. Location not bad. need some walk to main road, but very peaceful. We love the balcony, and restaurant for brunch. Nice view and comfortable. However, staffs were mostly friendly but not very well-trained. Some did not even greeting us when met at the elevator or corridors, which should not happen at a five star hotel we thought. Overall, we like this hotel, hope can have better experience next time.

Come to Bangkok With family and find accommodation near the waterfront so that we will go on a cruise in the evening. When I saw this place, there was a family room, very good. We come together 4 adults and 2 other children. I can only book one room. There is a large room divided into 2 bedrooms, very spacious. Glad to find this place before booking another place. Because our family wants to stay in the same room There are both children and the elderly who need to take care of. Friendly service staff very alone,greeting and also playing with our children.check-in is very easy,not as cumbersome as other hotels. Who have stayed all the time The room is clean and convenient. Separate bedroom and living room There is a dining table, kitchen, balcony and complete items in the room without asking for anything. And see the view of the river as well Enjoy the view at night We have to go to the boat at ICONSIAM. The staff called a taxi for me. There is a lot of food to eat. There is no restaurant at the hotel, but it is very convenient because there are many restaurants. Impressed and will definitely come back to stay here again.

I am really impressed with the hotel. The room is very clean. Staff are super helpful, especially the male staff helped me get the taxi. Thank you so much. The hotel location is very close to the BTS Chong Nongsi so it's a great location hotel. There is 7elevent close to the hotel. I didn't realize there is a good hotel in that soi. Value for the money when staying at this hotel.

I had the pleasure of staying at The Montien for 3 weeks 2 months ago when on a company-booked trip. My room and bed were extremely comfortable and spacious, with plenty of natural light and unobstructed views, quality amenities including a Nespresso machine. The Montien decor is modern, Thai style and beautiful. The breakfast buffet is bountiful, with plenty of variety. Pierre Pelletier, the Area General Manager and his team went above and beyond to ensure my stay was outstanding! Then this month when my family and I planned a vacation to Bangkok I picked this hotel as our base. The hotel is conveniently located for easy access to the sky and underground trains, many must-go-to restaurants, cafes, Siam Paragon, temples, Chinatown, night walks and more. We were welcomed with incredible 5-star Thai hospitality. Special mention to Khun Nu, her front desk team and night manager Khun Jew for handling flight delays, airport transfers and arranging pick up of lost luggage, Khun Tik for his world-class warm welcomes, Max’s regular assistance and taxi coordination, the ever-helpful and polite bellmen, Beer remembering our morning coffee preferences, Kae at Ruenton restaurant for looking after us at dinners, friendly Tanya at the lobby bar, the housekeeping team for keeping our 3 rooms impeccable and everyone who made our Bangkok vacation so memorable! It felt like our home away from home and we enjoyed our time here so much!

Stayed at Sam E Hotel for a 3D2N vacation. The hotel, which opened its doors in September/October 2023, was still undergoing some work on the rooftop bar. The service experience was exceptional throughout the stay. Upon arrival, the security guided guests to the hotel lobby on Level 2. A welcome drink was promptly served while the check-in process was underway. Surprisingly, the room was ready in less than 10 minutes, possibly due to the hotel's newness and lower occupancy. Before heading to the room, I had the pleasure of meeting Fon, the service manager, a genuinely friendly and hospitable lady. She shared insights about the hotel, including details about its founder, Mr. Sam E, whose name graces the establishment. As a hobby collector of mineral stones, the 1st level of the hotel also has a jewellery store showcasing some of Mr. Sam E’s collections economically priced. I booked the King Comfort room, spanning 28m², equipped with a King-sized bed, a separate toilet and bath with a rain shower, and complimentary mineral waters, cokes, teabags,a local tidbit snack (which, unfortunately, I forgot to bring back 😭) and free WiFi. The highlight was undoubtedly the spacious and comfortable king-size bed at 2.1m wide. The hotel's central location ensures a convenient stay. A 7/11 below the hotel offers delicious microwavables, which Thailand is known for. The BTS Surasak station is a mere 1-minute walk away, providing easy access to various attractions, including one stop from Saphan Taksin station where you pay a 10-baht boat ride to the famous Icon Siam. However, there are a few noteworthy points. The hotel lacks international power sources but provides a universal adapter, which may still be insufficient for some devices. Additionally, the provided clock, functioning as a wireless charger for phones with wireless charging capability, might be challenging to share among multiple guests. In conclusion, I would definitely return to Sam E Hotel when visiting Bangkok, primarily for its outstanding service and excellent geographical location. *One more tip: Opt for public transport like BTS due to Bangkok's notorious traffic congestion. As the hotel is relatively new, it may not be available on private hire apps like Grab. Be prepared to guide the driver using Google Maps to avoid any confusion. 😉

It's a healthy walk away from where the ”party street” is, but it's nothing more than a quick tuk tuk ride away. The hotel also offers to clean your clothes for a small price. The staff on this hotel is very friendly and very helpful. Not everyone is speaking english at the hotel but it's what to be expected. The rooms have all the basics and is clean, and there is a 7/11 nearby wich is nice if you are traveling light, like I am. The swimming pool was also clean and they have a very small fitness on top of the hotel. All in all a very good experience for me.
