Kimpton Maa-Lai Bangkok, an IHG Hotel

Wireless/Chidlom Bangkok|0.72km from Lumphini Park
Kimpton Maa-Lai is one of the best hotel (if not the best) in Bangkok that anyone can stay in. I had stayed here for 1 night in Bangkok, even though I booked with points, the front desk team was generous enough to give me an upgrade to the Maa-Lai Suite in lieu of my IHG Diamond membership. Upon arrival, the bellboys were helpful enough to take care of my baggage and whisk me into the lobby. The lobby at Kimpton was a work of art, and all guests who enter would first set their gaze on their magnificent art piece, The Raindrop. Other than that, numerous art pieces were also scattered around the hotel. I was attended to by Yok, who was very friendly and helpful, and answered all the questions I had, and also explained more about the hotel to me. She even walked me over to my room once the check in was complete! She is an absolute delight made my overall hotel stay very pleasant. In my room, there was also not 1, but 2 welcome letters from Songpol, the Hotel Manager and from Patrick, the General Manager. This is the first time I received 2 welcome letters in 1 stay. Along with the letters was a very nice welcome gift of macarons and chocolate, they were very delicious and left me wanting more. The room was spacious and spotless, equipped with very modern designs. I loved the room so much I ended up spending most of my time in the room instead of heading out. Also, the suite room was equipped with a Dyson supersonic hairdryer! This shows that Kimpton really spares no expense in ensuring the guests comfort, as it is their priority. This hotel is currently on my return stay list the next time I visit Bangkok, in fact, I have already made future reservations, and I would recommend anyone reading this review to not hesitate and spoil yourself by staying at Kimpton too!

Montien Hotel Surawong Bangkok

Latest booking 13 hrs ago

I had the pleasure of staying at The Montien for 3 weeks 2 months ago when on a company-booked trip. My room and bed were extremely comfortable and spacious, with plenty of natural light and unobstructed views, quality amenities including a Nespresso machine. The Montien decor is modern, Thai style and beautiful. The breakfast buffet is bountiful, with plenty of variety. Pierre Pelletier, the Area General Manager and his team went above and beyond to ensure my stay was outstanding! Then this month when my family and I planned a vacation to Bangkok I picked this hotel as our base. The hotel is conveniently located for easy access to the sky and underground trains, many must-go-to restaurants, cafes, Siam Paragon, temples, Chinatown, night walks and more. We were welcomed with incredible 5-star Thai hospitality. Special mention to Khun Nu, her front desk team and night manager Khun Jew for handling flight delays, airport transfers and arranging pick up of lost luggage, Khun Tik for his world-class warm welcomes, Max’s regular assistance and taxi coordination, the ever-helpful and polite bellmen, Beer remembering our morning coffee preferences, Kae at Ruenton restaurant for looking after us at dinners, friendly Tanya at the lobby bar, the housekeeping team for keeping our 3 rooms impeccable and everyone who made our Bangkok vacation so memorable! It felt like our home away from home and we enjoyed our time here so much!

awesome! B&Bs are more humane than hotels. The proprietress can speak Chinese and English, and she is very careful and patient to communicate and communicate with any questions. She goes out to help plan the itinerary and informs the route, including helping to exchange foreign currency in emergency situations and calling a taxi to the airport. This is a great help! Without the help of this lovely boss, we would waste too much time if we are unfamiliar! The accommodation room is very clean, with air-conditioning and toiletries, toothbrushes and slippers should be brought by yourself! Breakfast is simple bread, coffee, juice, etc. ~ You can also eat The location is in a small alley, you have to go to the innermost, but it is quiet! You can rest well! I will come to this next time I have a chance to come to Bangkok~

In general, it is normal, the window on the general staircase, noise isolation is not the best, more like a hostel with a separate room)

Me and my friends stayed in L suite (2 bedrooms unit) on the 5th floor , room 542. The hotel is clean and the front office staff are all so friendly and helpful. Here is the negative part , on our last day we experienced something scary. 16:00 PM : heard a weird noises, a groaning noises coming from my room (the room that have the king size bed) and I was sitting at the dining area. I thought it was the tv, So i left the dining area and checked if the tv is turned on and find out the tv was not on. So i went back to the living room and saw a shadow standing on the other bedroom (the twin bed room) 17:00 i left the hotel to a nearby mall 18:00 2 of my friend reached the hotel and call me and asked if I'm going to head back to the hotel 18:40 I got back to the hotel , and my friend told me that they saw me enter my room 15 minutes earlier 2:00 AM : my bedroom doors is opened , I saw the door handle moving (looked like someone was trying to open the door from outside) and only to find out that there was no one outside. I would give this hotel at least a 4 stars rating because the staff are really helpful and friendly and the location is prime. But we got so scared to encounter such event.

I spent 8 nights here over Solar New Year's because my usual hotel on Nana Soi 8 was fully booked and I wanted to revisit the Silom / Saladang area. The property is situated on a quiet soi, a ten-minute walk from Saladaeng BTS station. The neighborhood features a number of very interesting cafes, restaurants, and a large street-food market. There were very few guests occupying the property so it was very peaceful and quiet. I really liked the staff; they were extremely friendly and helpful. The room and bathroom were very clean, and comfortable and had far more charm than your typical budget accommodation. The wi-fi, refrigerator, and hot water, worked fine. The bedding, linen, and towels were in good condition. The room had a safe and hot water boiler. Unfortunately, there were really no English-language channels on television. I booked through Agoda at a rate of $30 USD per night, a fair price for this time of year. I would not hesitate to stay here again or recommend it to friends or family.

We looked for a suite or apartment at reasonable price, with parking and a good location - and this one is perfect! It’s a residence building, some are living there some subletting and some are guests. Very convenient. The facilities are not brand new but it’s really more than enough for small families.
