I was in town for a few days to visit family and propose to my girlfriend. The night of the proposal we had trouble getting into the hotel because our key cards didn't work. we then went to the main entrance carrying several items with us and the night audit manager was mouthing to us to use our key through the glass instead of just opening the door. We were trying to tell him the key was not working. He finally let us in after back and forth hand and mouth gestures. He had a very sassy attitude and acted as though we were disturbing him on his time. He swiped our keys and said they should work. we went up to our rooms only to find the keys didn't work. I came back down stairs and left my fiance in the hall because she had dropped her belongings and our food from the engagement celebration. I went back down stairs to tell him & that the keys were still not working. i asked him for a different set. He did not give me a different set but instead swipped the key to an office down stairs and said its working fine. I went back to the room only for the key not to work again. My fiance then called the front desk and told him we still could not get in. His response was, "its working i just used it downstairs." You would think he would have given us different keys or came up, or apologized for the inconvenience, but no. We had to ask him to come up stairs to let us in. I complained the next morning at check out and was told a manager or the GM would reach out. 3 weeks later, nothing!
