The location of the hotel is so closed to the MRT stat - 崇文门，the entrance/exit is just right in-front of the hotel! As it was off-peak season when we visited Beijing, we were upgraded to a Deluxe Suite, which mean there is a separate bedroom with a single bed, on top of a master room with a double bed. We really appreciate the kind act. While I was still at other part of China, I thought of ordering something online and use this hotel as the receiving end, I thought of just checking it out, and to my pleasant surprise, the hotel does provide such service and the staff helpfully guided me on how to do so. After I checked into the hotel and gotten the item I ordered, a few days later, but sadly the item didn't suit me, the hotel again provides the service of allowing the courier staff to go to the counter to collect back the return item. I was amazed by the extreme friendliness and helpfulness of the staff there. All in all, we really enjoyed the service extended to us! It is no doubt hotel staff in China places their guests at top priority, making them feel at home at all times.

Facilities: The decoration is too old, it was from 2008. At this price, I prefer to go to the current smart hotel. Hygiene: Of course the hygiene of a five-star hotel is acceptable. There is nothing to say about this. Environment: The environment is acceptable, with small bridges, flowing water and rockery Service: It was after one o'clock in the morning when we arrived. As a five-star hotel, doesn't the concierge provide 24-hour service? I have stayed in so many high-star hotels. When I entered, there was no concierge and the taxi driver brought me suitcases (one large and one small dragging 24-inch suitcases). I found the front desk by myself. The person who received me should be the lobby manager after reporting it. After checking in, he sent us all the way to the room and was kind enough to upgrade to a family suite. Next time I go to Beijing, I probably won't stay here again.

Stay away! The saving grace came from Trip.com which enabled me to terminate our booking without penalty. Awful garbage smell in the room. We checked in at 1am due to late flight arrival. Upon entering the room we we’re concerned about a strange smell in the room. We thought it would go away so we just opened the window. It was late we decided we would ignore the smell but by 6.30 am we couldn’t ignore the foul smell anymore. So we wrote to trip.com to terminate our booking. By 9am we’re ready to check out. At the checkout counter the staff was gracious and friendly and she said our booking was terminated at our request. Just too many faults with this hotel room. Chair needs to be replaced. It easily toppled backwards. Toilet door can’t completely closed. Not sufficient electrical outlets to plug your devices. Curtains are dirty. No hooks in toilet. Only positive staff was friendly.

Location is EXCELLENT! It's just across the subway. And there are plenty of shopping malls and flagship stores for many international brands around. Super convenient with restaurants that serve super delicious local meals just next to the hotel. Staff is super attentive even in the middle of the night. Room bed and blankets are comfortable. Enough supply of bottles of water everyday. Free flow is Chinese tea and coffee at the lobby is definitely a big plus!! The only down side is the cigarette smoke at the corridor of the rooms.

I forgot to take pictures, except that there is no elevator, everything else is fine, especially right next to the 07 security checkpoint. I got up at 6 o'clock in the morning and strolled to Tiananmen Square. After waiting for a while, the flag was raised. It is also close to the Forbidden City. I walked there and ate. It’s more convenient. It only takes a few minutes to walk to Dashilar. The front desk and service staff are very friendly. They even gave me a few refrigerator magnets when I left. I will choose to stay there next time I go to Beijing.

When I first looked at the evaluation, I thought that the environment was not very good, I didn't have much expectations, and I told my family in advance that it might be unsatisfactory, but is it really close to Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City? After I arrived, I felt that the environment was OK, but there was a basketball court opposite the room I lived in. It was very noisy during the day. The triple room was really not very large. A very warm and satisfying stay experience. It was very cold this weekend but we felt warm and happy, especially with a baby. Because the baby likes duck elements, we informed the relevant hotel staff in advance and the hotel helped prepare little yellow duck balloons for the baby. I was very happy when I checked in and kept saying that I would come back next time. The hotel took great pains to arrange the baby's sugar control request. The exquisite snacks prepared were specially prepared to reduce sugar. It was great. I took my baby to the hospital today because I was not sure whether I would be able to come back at noon. A handsome and tall staff at the front desk was very helpful. He patiently and attentively told me not to be anxious, and helped us delay check-out until three o'clock, so that we had enough time to take a rest after taking the baby back from the hospital, and the baby could also adjust. 1. Location is fantastic. Within walking distance to the shopping street and the forbidden city. The subway station is just below the shopping mall next door. If you want shopping, food and site-see, this location is the most convenient! 2. The front desk and the concierge are the 2 services that we troubled regularly during our stay of 6 nights. All Chinese site-seeing locations must be pre-booked and the applications are only Chinese-nationals friendly. Without a Chinese ID or a Chinese mobile number, it was impossible to help yourselves, even though we had Wechat and Alipay pre-installed and tested before we left Singapore. 3. Front desk team, Leon was the one who checked us in. He struggled to find us rooms on the same floor due to the peak season (23-29 Dec). We were given rooms on separate floor but he gave us lift access to both floors and apologized profusely for the wait and gave us vouchers for drinks at the cafe, which we did not use. 4. Concierge team led by Elvis with Alan and Wendy helping, was a fantastic team. Elvis had to use his mobile to help us book Great-Wall tickets, which we paid him through WeChat. During which, someone wanted his help, but he politely tell the guy to wait since he has started helping us first. Polite and put his point across without creating a scene. 5. Alan from the concierge team was the one that got us a table at their Christmas eve dinner. They first offered us a 4-seater table squeezing in 6, to be shared with another 2. We turned down the offer and was prepared to end up eating street food or order room service. But on the day itself, he saw us coming back and offered us another table, because they decided to add in more tables, which we took. It was a fantastic buffet dinner with free flow of alcohol and drinks. The highlight was the cutting of a huge blue-fin tuna. The price for the dinner per pax (don't remember how much now) was a fraction of what have to pay in Singapore. The amount of alcohol and tuna sashimi that we had was enough to recoup the dinner price ! 6. Another observation (now that we have been to Harbin Shangrila after Beijing, we have a comparison) : at the breakfast restaurant, the reception could recognize us on the 2nd day, and remembered our room numbers and that we are family of 4! The training of service staff paying such attention to details can only mean that they believe in service to the core. 7. If you are going to Beijing, consider no where else but Hilton at Wangfujing. I know I will be there again !

The room is decent size for the price and it is well distributed. The closet is just a hanger for like 4 or 5 garments so beware. Bathroom unfortunately was a bit smelly. Bed was comfortable. I did not like the included breakfast because it’s actually a bag they leave outside the door every morning with the same menu everyday and did not like all the items. I will try a different hotel in my next visit to Beijing.

Bathroom/shower stalls need to be cleaned THOROUGHLY of grim/stains and MOULDS! Which are not only unsightly but pose a danger to health! This is for ALL rooms! Water from shower stalls do not drain well due to poor construction gradient of shower floor. Check in smooth and although booked a room on 2/3rd floors, was given one on 4th floor accessible through an external door on 3rd fl through 2 flights of stairs and to the outside, certainly unsuitable for any older persons! Was subsequently given one on 3rd for subsequent nights. Poor room layouts, no storage space/hooks for clothes, no fridge and dismal lighting. Architect/designer has much to learn about room layouts etc before embarking on further hotel designs! Breakfast was ample/adequate but could have some different varieties each day for those who stay longer. This could have been an innovative arty hotel which the Owner has in mind but for the above. Saving grace was the front desk staff who were most helpful and special mention should be made of Helen, Owen, Jake and Vivian.

Only one night during my three-day stay there was an aunt next door who kept calling at midnight. Other than that, there was no sound that affected my sleep. , very friendly for people with sleep disorders. The hotel is in a good location. It is a five-minute walk to Tiananmen Square. The breakfast is rich, including Chaos noodles pancakes and buffet. The most important thing is that it is very clean. There are armed police and special police on duty 24 hours at the door, and thieves have to go around. Walking around, the facilities are average, and the TV has snowflakes, but these are not important. When I come to Beijing, I just walk around during the day and sleep at night. I will stay here again next time I come to Beijing.

I can’t say enough how cute and chic this hotel is and it’s right in the middle of everything. Located in the heart on Dongcheng District. Just a 100 meters or so from Wangfujing street . There is a lot of colorful action there as this section of Wangfujing is basically is walkable mall so there are thousands of people out having fun getting ice cream and shopping . Very lively area. Located on Dong A Men Street The hotel is just a 12 minute walk from Subway line 1, especially great if you take the inexpensive train and subway connection from Daxing airport or Beijing International . No need to deal with taxis if you don’t want to.. There are great places to eat to the right or left of the hotel . Whether Peking duck or noodles. Whatever your heart desires, you won’t go hungry . There are also little shops for sweets, gifts, pastries or water. .Also not far from Tiananmen Square. Or the Forbidden city , about a 20-25 min walk. For the price the hotel is absolutely worth it and have seen a lot less comfort and dullness for a lot more . The place is updated and modern and the rooms look just like in the pictures on google or what have you. No disappointment, No surprises, no filthiness, mold or peeling paint. We got the Superior Smart Room with window. There are so many nice things in the room like heated toilet seat, great high pressure shower , with head from high above , a fridge, white glass ,blue and gold tones throughout , power curtains( just yank a little on them and they open or close the rest of the way, nice! ) , nice cluster of buttons by the side of the bed with USB or to activate different light or things and just cool modern decor We decided to book breakfast with our stay which is an additional charge of $9, Sure you can eat cheaper outside if you just want a bowl of noodle but you will not be disappointed eating hear either, located on the 5th floor roof top This not a tea and biscuit or waffle and dried egg buffet. This is a full on staffed event with a cook working in the back . The choices of eastern and western food is endless. It’s very large .you will be satisfied . The 5th floor is the outdoor roof where u can sit and enjoy some fresh air and it also has an indoor lounge . The inside lounge has a microwave, a small couch, washing machines(1 or 2, don’t remember ) , two stationary bikes . A couch etc… a place to chill if you want . They have WiFi, though the staff helped me connect I couldn’t really get mine to work. Maybe you will have better luck . The staff is helpful and friendly though English is at a very very minimum. But that’s ok , hell we are in their country right? Just get out your google translate and they will translate back. I found this to be the best method of communicating. In the end , with all the benefits of proximity to food, attractions , subway we would not hesitate to stay here again. Really nice small hotel
