Hyatt Place Hampi

Its not in Hampi.. its 50-60mins away! Due to their system error they deducted money a day before saying your booking date is gone, it was their error, they asked me to book again with no refund and later u sent email with right dates , as apology we were promised better room but nothing happened. They dint even bother to acknowledge. Billing of food wasn’t correct - had to get corrected so ***y times as baby food was charged. Bed sheet was torn- pic! Pool was okayish Dont use their saloon- its bad and person dsnt have knowledge- even they billed doubled as error of calculation. If you dont have your call- visiting hampi will be tough. Not a real Hyatt experience! No restaurant except domino’s near by.. no super market as well.. Games room- ok Room- very small. They gave us good qty of water though

Stayed here in last week of March. Quite serene place with greenery all over. Special mention - Harsha, an intern, who went out of his way to make our stay one that we would cherish forever. His sweet disposition and quick service won our hearts every morning as we went for breakfast.

This was an impromptu / less than 24 hours trip to Hampi , and the Hyatt Place was perfect for our short stay in this area. Here's a breakdown of why we chose this over the Evolve Back property nearby , and what all we liked :- 1. I was able to redeem my 'World of Hyatt' points for both our rooms , making my net expenditure ZERO. While Evolve Back might be a wonderful property , it made no sense to spend that much for a total stay of just 10 hours or so. 2. The cancellation policy of Hyatt was way more generous than Evolve Back. For a city being served by only one Alliance Air ( infamous for its last minute cancellations ) flight at that time ( Aug'23) , this was a very important factor to consider. 3. Proximity to the airport : The Vidyanagar Jindal Airport is barely 5 minutes away. So you can walk in just 40 minutes before departure time. 4. The rooms are much better than we anticipated. Comfortable , modern & very clean. 5. Kudos for the aesthetics - the lobby is beautiful , with a tree as the centrepiece. The lighting of this entire area at night makes it look very upscale. 6. Last but not the least , the staff is very courteous & efficient. The ONLY flaw - the name of the hotel. Adding "Hampi" might mislead some to believe that it's nearby ( 1 HOUR AWAY ). You'll require to book round trip car transfers , so do keep that in mind. Would I choose Hyatt Place Hampi again ? YES , and would gladly recommend staying here.

When you compare Hyatt with other properties it’s different but nice the worst experience is to order or eat at their restaurant because the food quality is not as per Hyatt standards and services are also pathetic better to stay at other property if you want to enjoy your stay

Hyatt place is really an oasis in the middle of the industrial town. Very nicely located amongst green trees and gardens, very peaceful. It has beautiful swimming pool with a view of gardens all around. Well maintained gardens which are nice for morning and evening walks.

Overall good exp. Excellent service and hospitality. Food was good and room were clean with well thought from guest's perspective. IT is good for a family as well. Will definitely take my family there again.

Nice, clean hotel, courteous staff, serene and scenic view. Will stay again here. Food was good. It is nearby to town. Best part you can visit Hampi in 35 minutes during day time. In totality a nice experience

Travel time : Dec 2021 , 2N 3D , 3 adults Rating : 3.5/5 — smooth check in and check out process — located in the midst of Vidyanagar township - near Jindal Steel Works (more on that soon). The hotel has done the interiors very well giving it a very Hampi vibe with stone walls, circular boats near the fountains etc.. — good facilities (clean swimming pool, gym, kids park) — since we were 3 adults we chose a deluxe room with a plunge pool (pool was not cleaned daily and had lot of fallen leaves + sofa bed was the most uncomfortable cot , for the price and brand - these 2 features were disappointing) the plunge pool has 0 privacy from neighboring rooms + common backyard (hotel staff and groundskeeper are strolling around). Also as the name suggests, pool is only to stand (waist deep) or sit and have a quick chat or evening drink — the restaurant had a good spread of food. However if you do not like a dish, expect a long take from the chef with a forced apology. (Another point reduced for this) Location : while the vidyanagar township is amazing for evening strolls / jogs / cycling with all basic amenities (electronics store / Dept store / 2-3 small restaurants / pharmacy etc) , the hotel is 1 hour drive from Hampi city (all the tourist attractions). Hence if you want to visit the various attractions across the city which can take upto 2 days, this location may not be ideal unless you are ok with 2-2.5 hours additional drive daily.

The Hyatt is an excellent place from which to see the Hampi temples, and the food was absolutely some of the best we had in India. Such a variety and top-quality.food - really high-end dining (though short on alcoholic beverages). Rooms and service were fabulous. Highly recommended. Note it's near the steel factory, which you can just see from the hotel - fascinating.
