The staff throughout the hotel were very professional, friendly and extremely helpful. They always greeting and smiling to us. The dinner & breakfasts were amazing. The room was spacious with fantastic view！

Overall experience of staying at Seikaiso was very good. The location is close enough to the Beppu station(walking distance 10mins) and bus terminal is 2mins away. The best experience of this Ryokan is the hot springs and private bath on the rooftop. Breakfast is served per room on booking time with Japanese style breakfast. It was various dishes and delicious!
The front staff/restaurant staff/general staff are all friendly and helpful. Especially at the front desk staff Urabe was amazing. He also speak good English so it was very helpful. He helped us everything what we need. 🙏🏼
We will definitely go back to Seikaiso again.

The room is alright with sea view. However the service of front desk staff need to be improved. The staff did not tell us anything about the booked private family onsen and breakfast place.

I booked a Japanese-style room on the city side, and was upgraded to a sea view side, which I was very satisfied with. The hotel is also very convenient for travel, and there are direct buses to Takasaki Mountain and Beppu Hachidaigoku.

I found this hotel by accident. I like it very much. It’s just one stop away from Beppu Station. You can also take one stop to Beppu Kitahama. The hotel is right on the beach. It’s very comfortable to see the sea hot springs. The dinner is delicious. Breakfast was a bit average. The only thing I didn't like was the quilt in the hotel. It was too hot and there were no thin quilts in the hotel.
