My 2nd stays when visit Bergen on October 2022 and April 2023 both visit are for 3 nights each stays. I love Thon hotel because the breakfast was amazing, so many varieties of food and delicious. The room is very nice and clean and comfortable beds. Shower room is nice and the adjustment of the water is perfect. I love the chocolate they serve in ours first check in. Delicious. Parking is not free but easy access. The hotel is located in the heart of Bergen old Town, only walk about 2 minutes from the lobby, beautiful Maria Church also 2 minutes from the lobby, definitely will come back...strongly recommend 😍 you can watch my channel about all hotels I recommend on WTLJ YouTube, thanks 😊

This hotel is in a great location, situated between the Bergen Castle and Bryggen historical shopping area. The rooms were decent sized for European hotels. We booked a city tour, and it conveniently picked up right in front of the hotel. Then it was an easy walk to get some food. I definitely want to go back to Bergen and spend more time exploring, and when I do this is where I will stay.

Loved the location - just behind the Bryggen.
Staff friendly and unobtrusive.
Breakfast had a great selection - very relaxed.
Handled our later than planned arrival with any fuss.

Ths was my 3rd stay at a Thon hotel on this trip which also included 3 nights at the Clarion Collection hotel Bastion and a berth on the Havila.
The hotels location is spot on, central for everything.
Staff at reception were helpful and checking in was quick.
Breakfast was excellent, as expected.
The biggest let down was the room, I have never stayed in such a small room, I had booked a standard double, had nice views over the city but i had to live out of my suitcase which ended taking up half the avaiable floor space.
6 hangers in a space fit for 4, no drawers or cupboards for anything else, if you are single you could use the second bed, if you are a couple then forget booking this room type. The shower was ok, the sink was small and your knees hit the doorframe when you used the toilet.
Oh and becareful with the room door, it opens outwards???
