This was a first class experience at a first class hotel. Right from the start I was made to feel at home and was allowed to check in much earlier than 2pm which was ideal as I could freshen up before going to my future work place. In addition, complimentary breakfast was added to my reservation which again was a big bonus and the choices were fantastic. The grounds around the hotel are very nice to take a walk and the hotel is very near to many restaurants. The room itself was comfortable and great value for money and even having a bathtub was nice to use at the end of the day. This is a great place for anybody to stay and is family friendly which is convenient to go and see the pandas. All the staff were fantastic but I must mention Paul who really went that extra mile to make stay comfortable and even exchanged his Wechat in case I needed any help. His professional approach and English speaking ability is a great asset to the hotel. I will definitely be returning soon.

From the hotel, you can take a bus to the south gate of the panda base. You can also take a manned electric car to get out of the panda base for ten yuan. You can also take the scenic express train to other urban attractions. It is very convenient. There is a supermarket downstairs in the hotel and a snack street upstairs. There is also a very good restaurant with large portions and reasonable prices. Because I arrived early, the hotel also upgraded me to a double bed room with a balcony. Thank you. If you want to see Huahua, you don’t have to go too early. They will feed apples at 10 a.m. It is recommended to go after 8:30. There are many people waiting in line at the base for at least an hour. PS: Huahua is really cute.

Parking in the community is very convenient, much cheaper than nearby scenic spots. I sincerely recommend it to friends who want to come to the Panda Base.
