Not possible from the get go. Parking included a $50 fee, and each room required a $75 incidental fee. What should have been around $250 ended up being over $500. I am a teacher on the Navajo Reservation. I had to use my entire savings to stay at the Hilton. My Amtrak train was very 7 hours delayed so instead of leaving Chicago for their home around 3 we had to spend the night in Chicago. Streets were difficult to negotiate, parking required money and all the fees were unexpected. The retired pastor and wife (also retired music teachers) had difficulty with elevator that required the card to be waved in front of a reader while pastor’s life had to use her walker. The elevator slammed down on my hand and her when she tried to enter the elevator. I am very displeased with the staff in the front. I used my bank card to pay ******* for my rooms I rented tonight and had to pay two separate fees (one for each room). Our rooms were on separate floors also. I came all the way from the New Mexico and am very disappointed with the customer service, fees and hotel. My friend had to use the restroom and the lady at the front desk, Trinity, drew out the situation checking in by calling someone to assist her. I paid all the fees and rooms myself because the pastor and his wife had to wait for my train and it would be two and half hours home. I refuse to have them drive at night so far and through the city. $36 for breakfast! Per person! Ridiculous. I will not be staying again.
