We LOVED this hotel! For those visiting Dali, I highly recommend staying on this side of the lake if you’re interested in being right on the water. We stayed on both sides and thought this old town was less commercial, more relaxing and had easy access to beautiful bike path along the lake. As for the hotel, it was simply relaxing. They built the rooms in a way that gives you an unobstructed sunset view of the lake with privacy and no distractions. The room is so spacious with a huge circular bathtub right by the balcony that overlooks the lake facing sunset. Yes, the other reviews are true that there are common space photo shoot opportunities at this hotel but we didn’t find it a nuisance at all. We are not selfie/photo shoot people and those who did take some pictures were not intrusive nor could they see us or us them from our room. Those common spaces were actually quite cozy and comfortable and at most times, empty! The breakfast and evening treats were also tasty. The service was good and I have absolutely no complaints! I would love to return for another relaxing stay. This spot exceeded our expectations!

The homestay is very clean and the boss and the proprietress are very enthusiastic. When I first arrived, the proprietress helped bring the luggage to the room. Before leaving, the boss took us to the nearby passenger terminal in the rain. If you want to drink tea, the boss will make tea and chat with the guests at any time. Home-like homestay, like it. The B&B is across the road from the ancient town of Shuanglang. It is no more convenient to drink coffee and see the Bohai Sea. You can always find the food you want to eat in the ancient town.

First of all, Bohai Sea is a pleasant place compared to Xizhou and Dali Ancient City. This time I booked two rooms. In order to see the Bohai Sea, one of them is a sea view room and the other is a parent-child set. The inn in Bohai can see a lot of the sea. I probably divided a few pieces. Yuji Island is surrounded by the sea on three sides. It is quiet in the middle of noisy, but the building is intricate. You block me a little. I block you halfway. It is a pure homestay style; the pier is the node, and the sea street to Yujiqiao belongs to the middle section. It is lively, but a bit messy; I have not been to the north section of Yuji Bridge to the north, so I will not comment. The pier is Jinxi Street to the south. It may be planned late. The building is more scattered and suitable for small and fresh choices.

Cars are not allowed in Shuanglang Ancient Town. The inn is still close to the nearby parking lot. The parking fee seems to be 30 yuan a night. The room is fairly large, with plenty of hot water, but there is a bathtub in the room, which seems to be redundant. It is more practical to build the entire table and cabinet. There are xiaolongbao, fried dough stick and soy milk for breakfast nearby, which is very convenient. The roof is beautiful, watch the stars with your baby at night!

The house facilities are very good, Xiaomi TV, smart toilet, piano shower. Very comfortable, the balcony is very comfortable to sit and drink and chat at night. The proprietress is also good, highly recommended.
