I can safely say Intercontinental is one of the best hotels in Dalian after having stayed in many Dalian hotels. For starters we got a room upgrade and early check in and late check out. The hotel also gave us complimentary coffee and fruit soon after checking in. The room was clean, comfortable, modern and had a gorgeous city view. The amenities were satisfactory and their Breakfast buffet had a wide range of Western and Chinese cuisine to choose from. Special thanks to Jason from the fitness centre and Winnie and Kevin from the front desk for their excellent service they especially made sure our stay was enjoyable. The only downside is that I think the Chinese restaurant staff could use some training the service there was the least professional but in my opinion it didn't takeaway from the overall experience.

To be honest, I expected a lot for this hotel. Well too much expectation. 我想太多了！ The room, when we first entered it was smelly like I don’t know…like an old room. Clean, yes. But the smell not so ok especially when we have a baby. The Electric plugs, OMG😱 PLEASE FIX IT !!! At first it was ok but then it stopped everywhere. We need to find which electric plug works so we can boil the water and charge our phones. And the last, the WIFI. Speechless on this one. I was thinking that I can do my work during stay at this hotel. But the connection sooooo poor !!!!! I had to use my personal hotspot from my phone to do my work using laptop. Well…I spoke to the receptionist but they said, well maybe because of a lot of people are using it. Well….it’s a big hotel, not a small apartment or even house. Anyways….next time I won’t take much higher expectations on this. Tks!

Pleasant hotel with a good outdoor seating. The bathroom was spacious and shower and toilet are distinctly separated. Breakfast is decent but could be better. They offer meals for lunch and dinner which are fairly priced. The sliders I ordered were only 60-80rmb and they tasted yum! The hotel is nicely located at the beach front and is less crowded during the holiday, but our king sized room was in front of three trees that were blocking the view of the ocean. Other than that it was a cool experience.

I've stayed at this location multiple times. It is a good location and I enjoy the house band in the pub (located in the basement). The Kempeski is definitely showing its ago, however. The marblework in the bathroom is cracked and some of the flooring is stained. The public bathroom (to the right of the lobby) is in desperate need of a makeover, i.e. recaulk the edges of the lavatory and do a deep steam cleaning of all tile. Breakfast was superb and the wait staff was doing a great job turning tables around for the next customers. I would probably stay again, but only if the prices are reduced.

This second time staying here, like the first, didn't disappoint. As before, visiting during the off-peak time is ideal for a quiet, uncrowded getaway. The sea-view room is welcoming and comfortable, with a view that is uncluttered and peaceful; opening the patio doors to the sound of waves rolling in equals instant relaxation. Aside from having a super comfortable bed and all the useful amenities one could need, there were simple niceties about the room, like the ability to adjust the temperature and fan speed (which runs quietly without disturbing sleep), ample hot water to fill a soaker tub, and multiple options for adjusting the room lighting. The hotel is immaculately clean, the grounds are meticulously maintained, and access to the beach is just steps away. The breakfast is substantial, with a variety of both Chinese and Western dishes. The staff was friendly and happy to care for our needs, even providing a power converter which I forgot to pack. Those in search of a quiet escape from the hustle and bustle of the city can't go wrong by staying here. Highly recommend, and hope to visit again in the future. Hats off to the staff. 感谢你们让我们住得特别舒服！

An overall good hotel though large, meaning some areas were crowded—for example the restaurant at breakfast, or the pool. Now I stayed in other hotels for one night, and I was not satisfied in all aspects, and then I checked out decisively and chose this Hilton. The location of the hotel is in the city center, it is convenient to go anywhere. The room is full of floor-to-ceiling windows, with a very good view and lighting. The facilities in the house are relatively modern and user-friendly, and the sanitation is also good. It is very comfortable to live in. The hotel service staff is considerate, meticulous, patient and organized, and there will be someone in front of the door to help open the door and take luggage. I stayed in an executive room. The service provided by the executive lounge team was amazing (actually the best I have received in China). The breakfast and afternoon tea in the lounge was amazing. One day I went to the buffet for breakfast and was disappointed by the cleanliness of it, so I decided to just eat at the lounge. The laundry team was also great. They noticed one of my dresses had a small issue so they fixed it. Most of the staff spoke at least some English, it was the first time in China that even the housekeeper could speak English.

The room was very big and very clean. Beds were comfortable. Heating was a little weak so room never got really warm. Wouldn't be a problem in the summer though. Service was pretty friendly and efficient. Breakfast was good but no western choices. The only major problem we had was we ended up with noisy guests beside us on the second day who woke us up at 6 in the morning. The hotel wasn't busy. Maybe next time they can spread the guests out a little

From the start of our stay the staff were kind, friendly and helpful. They are also fluent in English and were able to suggest many different activities in and around the area. The facilities are clean and the swimming pool is a great place to relax. The hotel is located close to many different restaurants and coffee shops. They also have bikes you can use to explore the scenery. I would definitely go back and recommend this place for everyone!

This hotel is my favorite place to stay when I return to Dalian in 2023. Let me talk about the advantages: 1. Excellent location, you can solve everything in a hundred steps: 2. The bedding is excellent and your sleep is better than at home. 3. The room service lady is kind, diligent and responsive to all requests. 4. The breakfast is rich in variety, and the tea, fruits and snacks picked up by the front desk are very considerate and pleasant. 5. Self-service laundry room and treadmill (although the instruments are not easy to use) 6. You can hail a taxi at the door, which is friendly to the elderly. 7. The two boys at the front desk are young and professional. Regardless of whether they can meet the needs of customers, they do their best. shortcoming: The young girl at the front desk is really a decoration and a burden. Almost the first reaction when a guest makes a request is: no, no, no, no sense of service at all 😂 and the response is slow and inefficient. Once there are no guests, they start to climb on the counter and check their mobile phones, or fight with colleagues. It really feels like they are here to damage the image of the hotel. It seems that instead of having a facade, the front desk needs some 35-year-old older ladies with service spirit, rather than those young ladies who are ignorant of the world and need others to look at their ignorant faces! I really have a strong feeling when I come here this time. As a Dalian person, I know that we speak loudly and harshly, but you are the front desk. I really like the front desk of a big hotel in the city center. Dealing with yourself and guests in this way is good for yourself and the guests. The hotel's one is irresponsible! Evaluate carefully! Hotel Nikko is a throwback to the 1990's. It is well maintained and very comfortable hotel. In fact, I moved from another 5 star hotel to this one mid weekend. The decor is a little dated, BUT of the 3 hotels in downtown Dalian that I have used over this last year I think Nikko is my favorite. Their service is excellent. The food is good. (Breakfast is great and the Japanese restaurant is good) The atmosphere of the hotel is very nice and upscale. I like that there is a Lawson's near the lobby, in the adjoining office/apartment building. When I called to request they lower the temperature in my room, they said they could not adjust the thermostat; however, they did offer me a fan. Within 5 minutes housekeeping brought a very nice standing fan which worked great. My next trip downtown I think I'll start with Hotel Nikko.

This is a hidden gem to stay for families or for couples! We wanted our kids to enjoy being in the water even in the middle of winter and this was the perfect place. We stayed in a villa where they will fill your personal hot spring whenever needed. The public hot spring area also has huge indoor heated pools and a wonderful kids area. My children had a blast! Cleanliness and service was impecable all around. Shout out to Derek and Brain who spoke English and were so kind and helpful throughout our stay. As expected, the area around the hotel is quite dead in the winter like the amusement park and beach. Most attractions and things to do in Dalian are about 45 minutes away, so we will probably come back March- September instead.

Overall, it was a great stay. The location can't be beat, for the price group, at least. Abundant restaurants and coffee shops within a short walk, along with the beachfront. To the right were most of the coffee shops, cafes, and supplies, and across the giant oval were the seafood restaurants. Nice options on the seafront, as well. For convenience items, go to the left and seek out the hidden allyway stores I found only on the last day. The hotel was clean and efficient but comfortable. Service was good in general, but fell short in a couple areas. Front desk and restaurant staff seems overtasked; they did a nice job, but needed additional hands. This was most visible in the small dining area, in which all tables were at times either occupied or covered with dishes. The rooftop bar showed promise, but was closed by the time I arrived at 9:00 pm. Most of what fell short of expectations seemed beyond the hotel's control, such as the short-handed staff. Construction in the neighboring unit disrupted any tranquility I sought for most of two days. The workout area was adequate, but the eliptical trainer inoperable, a bit of a disappointment.

This was my first experience to stay on this hotel, i just checked out hotel today and until now (it has been 2 hours and more i haven't received my deposit back) i called customer service 3 times and they are so busy, they cannot handle it fast, this kind of service is so bad, why they hold my deposit so long, i don't know the reason At first i arrived at hotel, they provided us room which has bad smell (like no one ever stays in the room) ,then they changed the room to other room I found pillow in the room is kind of pillow for hotel with 2 star instead of 5 star, really not comfortable, then the dust under the bed and sofa, it is really dirty like they never clean dust under the bed and sofa Those all my concern, and i think i will not come back to this hotel ever again and will not recommend to my friend

The shed below the white is the Dalian Oktoberfest. The atmosphere is very good. It is a bit noisy. It needs to be hi until ten o'clock to stop. If you go to bed early, it is estimated that it is noisy. Let’s talk about the field experience. The accommodation is converted from an apartment building. Living on the 21st floor, the room is still big and clean, looking down is the dilapidated construction site, and Xinghai Park seems to be out of place! Directly taking pictures will look good as shown in Figure 1, I posted this look very good, Figure 3 is downstairs, there is no shop around except for a small shop downstairs, there is no place to eat breakfast, you need to order takeaway, so this part is more expensive (the baby can't not eat breakfast), Stayed for three days every day the elevator was bad, I needed to go down on the first floor and the first floor. I really couldn't stand it. The elevator was damp and stuffy and had all kinds of tastes (your fine product) 😂. Walk 600 meters back and there is a Kaidong Square where the lunch was solved for two days! The summer in Dalian is still very sunny and hot. We have been cloudy for the past two days. We went out for a meal at noon and then went out to play. The itinerary is relatively easy! Xinghai Square is economical at night, and you can also feed seagulls. The children are still very happy!

The room was ok, clean. The location is good quite close to the Veneza place and subway. Was not so easy to find the front door. The main issue was that the hot water finished during the bath. Needed to wait 20 minutes to come back.

I spent three nights at this property and must admit it was way beyond my expectations. I didn't get the right room on my first night though. They told me the room I booked wasn't available until the next day. So they gave me an upgrade for the night but eventually moved to my Seaview room the following morning at about 10 AM. Everything was nice but for the fact that I asked for my room to be cleaned but came back to an uncleaned room. The cleaners simply emptied the trash can and that was it. They didn't clean the bathroom. They didn't mop the floor. But for this every other thing was just fine.

The new hotel found on Trip.com was attracted by the lights on the building as soon as it arrived at the door, and the appearance was very characteristic.
