The overall property itself was clean and modern, you can tell it was remodel a few yrs ago. My issue was the poor communication and the lack of concern desk staff showed upon my checking in issue. After a long 6 hr drive, the hotel wasn’t able to completely honor my reservation. Upon check in I was told the remaining king bed room I reserved didn’t have a working tv. I was offered a double bed room, if I don’t want the room without a working tv. Or the option to completely cancel my reservation, all of the options are completely acceptable. It was way it was passively relayed to me, kind of a take it or leave it. A simple phone call would have sufficed, informing me of what’s going on before I has arrived. The area itself doesn’t have many options in terms of higher quality hotels, this is one of the better lower expectation hotels that’s still over charging for the area. That interaction for me brings them down to a 3 star rating.
