We were in town for a family event. We arrived 930 at night to walk into the lobby with the smell of over cooked curry. It was so overwhelming it made my eyes tear up. We still checked in. Went to our room and it smelled up there also. The next morning we still smelled lingering odors.

Last minute booking. Easy check in. Room smelled dirty but I think just old. Bath had small amount of mold around joints. Better cleaning would help. Bed was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was good with sausage and eggs and typical self serve. Overall ok just needs deep cleaning.

This is my 5th time to this property and i have always had an excellent stay. It is clean, close to shopping ourlets, and has friendly staff. Each time i am in decatur alabama this is my choice for hotel accomodations.

Was average. Pool was closed. Descent breakfast. Had to wait a long time to check in with only 1 person at the desk. A bit overpriced for the experience. Would not have stayed here if I planned a bit better. Not a bad place though...,

Basic No frills-absolutely no frills with small odor hotel. Unfortunately all the Best Westerns that I have stayed at have been uncomfortable for me. When you're scared to shower or let your feet touch the floor, and sleep with a crook in your neck bcuz you don't want the linens touching you. This is me at EVERY Best Western, so I will no longer book there. It's more of a working man, truck driver establishment.

First, the staff were very kind and attentive and very pleasant! Excellent employees.
However, the property smelled awful, especially my room. Like old food or something. The couch had large stains. And the AC was stuffed full of bounce sheets, i assume to mask the smell. (Unsuccessfully)
Someone in my hallway was smoking **** the whole weekend so there was that smell also.
There were some questionable people also in a room down the hall… several scantily dressed girls and a couple guys. It was worrisome.
We were there for a long weekend due to a death in the family, and basically only slept there and it was just too much trouble to ask for a refund and go find another place. But I won’t be back.

Alabama in the summer is a difficult time for hotel air-conditioning. The room had a constant dampness. Shower towels never dried even over night. The hotel has some years but the property owners have clearly taken action in maintaining the safety and cleanliness. Breakfast was good. Staff was pleasant. The hotel is right off beltline Rd so convenient for single night or longer stays or getting downtown or going getting food/ light shopping.
