Pros:
- gorgeous property
- harbor view rooms have a beautiful view
- property has a high end appeal
- Hot tub was busy, so we did not partake, but I love that it's outdoor.
- super comfortable beds
- very close to Amsoil Arena
Cons:
- bathroom had a sliding door, with gaps in which you can definitely see into the bathroom. Not a big deal for us, but might be something for others to keep in mind.
- toilet paper was equivalent to what you would find at a sketchy gas station in the middle of nowhere
- wall heating unit made an annoying, intermittent high pitched buzzing which kept me awake. This was NOT normal. If it wasn't intermittent, it would have been fine (I think). We couldn't keep the heat off bc it was minus teens with windchill outside.
- complained to front desk staff the next day about the noise which kept me up, and was offered breakfast vouchers but we already had plans for brunch with family (which is why we were in town). They said they would talk to a manager about knocking some of the cost of the room, but they didn't knock off a cent.
Overall, I cannot believe I paid > $300 for a "high end" room at a "high end" property with a wall heating unit that would be better suited for a Super 8 motel. Very surprised the management didn't take some of the cost of the room off, as I was completely exhausted the next day bc typically I sleep like a champ, at home and pretty much anywhere. Do better, Pier B Resort!
