This is the 2nd time I've stayed at this hotel. The first was back in 2019. There was some renovating going on at the time, so it wasn't a perfect stay.
However, this time around everything looked great, and was a near-perfect stay.
Only a couple of suggestions to make it superb: Since housekeeping is by request only, there should be more explanation of what you can and cannot request as far as amenities. There are no booklets or online information given in the room. Yes, I know the television channel is supposed to be your guide...but, guests need a guide to explain that. Things are a little too pared down now.
Breakfast buffet - not so creative. What would it take to add a couple more menu choices in the rotation? Also, it's weird to still provide paper plates bowls/plastiware. C'mon, the pandemic is over...if you want to be superb, offer real plates/bowls and flatware daily.
My building/room was non-smoking, but there was a very slight odor to the room that shouldn't be there. It was weird and couldn't really figure out what was causing it.
The kitchen suite stock was barely covering the basics. You should provide normal sized dinner plates for entrees- not salad plates.
So, my stay this time was Excellent, but not Superb. Great job on everything else, and I will be returning on my next LA stay!!
