Upon check in, i was actually pleasantly surprised by the condition of the front entrance and the young men working the front desk. Even the room was better than expected, although dated. The best surprise was that there was no moldy smell as it was when I last stayed years ago. The problem came on Sunday morning, the day of checking out. I was in town for a funeral which was already very emotional to say the least. We knew check out was @ 11:00. We were finishing packing and exactly at 11:00, a very loud, strong knock on the door and a voice say”manager front desk” happened twice before my fiancé could answer as i was in the bathroom. When she opened the door he had a bad, unpleasant look saying “time to checkout”, she replied we know we’re about done. She then let the door go and it closed as all of them do. The manager then very loudly yelled “Don’t slam my door” as i was coming out of the restroom. We had to take a long pause and quick prayer not to engage in his unprovoked, unprofessional nasty attitude. We have traveled the world and have never experienced anything like this. Furthermore, it’s really shameful that someone in this industry, in a place that has always had a culture of treating people with respect and dignity would act this way. It’s been at least 10 years since i stayed here and now i don’t plan on returning!

The motel was great the people are wonderful. Coffee always hot and fresh rooms are clean motel is clean tge breakfast could have more in it but it's ok. Any problems they get right to it. The will help you anyway they can.

Great room and great price! Great staff !! the breakfast was a little bit more than typical days Inn. And it was good. The staff was exceptional. Very friendly, and attentive to their guest. And the rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable. Will be back.

The room was ok definitely outdated but plenty of space. When I arrived for my stay, the manager was in the phone via speaker talking to an employee about their work schedule. That was extremely unprofessional and did not acknowledge me until way after the 10 minute conversation was over then would stop talking to me to talk to the other workers in the room. it was extremely rude. Customers should always come first.

This property wasn't the cheapest but it should have been. No elevator for a 2 story hotel. Very narrow staircase which was extremely inconvienent. We put our do not disturb sign up and room was cleaned anyway. Prescription medicine that was left on the table was no longer there.

They didn’t clean our room. We had to wait for them to wash towels. Refrigerator didn’t work. Room smelled stale. No elevator. Facility needs to be updated.

The best thing about this place is that it is close to Mamou. Place is kinda run down. Ok for a 1 night stay and the price was right

Staff accommodating. The room -- I had to go to desk 3 times to request various necessary items..towels, washcloths. Request can of Lysol spray to attempt to clear themusty moldy smell in the room..I sprayed the carpet thoroughly and that seemed to disguise the odor. Just felt dirty..thankful for our flipflops

Hotel comfortable, sink/bathroom clean. Rug stained & needed vacuuming. Decent experience until morning. Breakfast 6-9:00am. We went at 8:10 a.m. Had tea bags, no hot water, no cups. Another guest found cups and restocked. Out of bacon & eggs. Desk person said, "Both are very frozen and it would take too long to defrost." Remaining choices were carb heavy: plain bagels, packaged muffins, Fruit Loops; we left without breakfast.
