Budget Inn

Everything was clean. I wasn't expecting much based on that price, and expectations were definitely exceeded, especially for the price.The thinness of the walls is pretty much my only complaint.

I stayed for a week and it’s a quiet comfortable place to stay. There isn’t much commotion and it’s not in a high crime area

Clean, right off highway. Very nice man in charge, let me check in early, it was very hot and I was riding a motorcycle. Rooms are remodeled with nice furniture .

The room was quite clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly. As with any older motel, I could use updated, but I would stay there again.

My only complain is our room has two UBS slots but both were broken.

I always stay here with my small children and we never have a complaint. Cheap and safe

The two good things about this hotel is that it is very clean and it is in a convenient place. That is it. When we checked in, the door of the fridge was broken. We asked to move to another room and were told the it was full. That turned out not to be true. The manager checked the door and said it was fine, even though the seal of the door was loose. I had to use a bag to keep the door closed. We later discovered that the manager had turned the fridge up so what we had in there was not cold. In addition, this motel advertises itself as pet friendly. We were traveling with two dogs. Although there was a green space in front of the office, the manager told us both loudly that dogs were not allowed on the green space. Later we left to visit Fort Stockton and were stopped by the manager. He told us that we could not leave the dogs in the room because, according to him, someone called and complained about the dogs barking. There was no one else at the motel at this time. We explained to him that it was 106 degrees that day so we could not leave the dogs in the car and it was unreasonable to expect us to not leave the motel. He finally took our phone number and said he would call if anyone complained. We enjoyed visiting Fort Stockton and plan to visit again, but will not stay at this motel. If you have pets, do not stay here.

The great reviews about this place was misleading. I consider it 2/5 because the door was not sealed tight that the bugs and leaves from outside came in the room. The room smelled like urine. I had to go to a nearby store to buy an air freshener. A bug crawled on my face on the bed. I did not get a good night sleep because of the smell and bugs.

The room itself was relatively clean, and the bathroom was clean as well. The sheets and the towels were clean but dingy looking in need of bleach. The bedspread had a cigarette burn. Updates needed.
