A very relaxed stay with fabulous beach-front location easy for 4WD access on the eastern beach and to access Lake McKenzie. Recently renovated 2-bedroom apartment that worked well with our 2 adult children. Huge pool with poolside cocktails. Solid food options of restaurant, cafe or self-catering. Amazing fresh prawns in the restaurant -all meals were delicious. Friendly, attentive service from Nathan of Sheffield. Will definitely visit this resort again.

I highly recommend doing the 2 day Explorer tour. You will see Mackenzie Lake, Lake Wabby, champagne pools, a famous shipwreck and float down a lazy river and see the local dingoes. We had the best time and would come again.

An overnight stay in a well sized motel type room. Newly renovated bathroom was very good with hot water and good pressure. We had a buffet lunch and breakfast which were above average and the evening meal was good value considering where we were. We didn’t have time to frequent to bakery or liquor store. Staff were very accommodating as we needed a shower after our swim in Eli creek and even though we were no longer guests the outdoor showers were unlocked for our use. Overall a great stay

As part of a 3D/2N tour of Fraser Island we spent one night at K'gari Beach Resort. We were pleasantly surprised how nice the Resort is! Our room was large, nice linens, enough towels. Weather didn't cooperate for us to use the pool, but it looked nice! We would stay here again if we return to Fraser Island.

Nice, spacious & clean rooms that have everything you need. The restaurant had options for everyone, although the vegan options were a bit scarce. But at least there are some. We just found everything to be lacking a bit of love, this place is clearly here for mass tourism. What really, really made our stay, though, is the service during dinner. Jeanie was absolutely fabulous. Always available, attentive, smiling, friendly and fun to have a chat with. Thanks, Jeanie!

The resort is older, but clean and the apartments are large and well appointed. We had the buffet breakfast each morning which had lots of choices and we were well and truly satisfied. Everyone enjoyed their dinner the one evening we ate in. There are BBQ's if you wish to do your own thing. Staff are all very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Have to shout out to the reservations team as well, as I rang asking a few questions before our arrival and they were very helpful. Highly recommend staying here.

Such a lovely place , everything was perfect . Staff are very helpful, rooms clean and comfortable we had deluxe king room over looking the pool. Bbq area is well looked after , easy to use. Car parking was easy plenty of room. Bakery was so handy for the quick breakfast , coffee or pickup lunch before you hit the beach for the day. Eli creek is 15min drive perfect for young children ( safe) easily spend the day.

Stayed in Hervey Bay the night prior to the trip and picked up right outside the following morning promptly. Everything thereafter went so smoothly! Was so impressed with the driver/tour guide - Mark who made the trip so enjoyable. Learned so much about the history and nature on the island. Taken to beautiful sights and provided opportunities to explore on our own too, safely. Loved it and hope to return to K’Gari again in the future. Would highly recommend this experience to others - and it rained pretty much solidly throughout! Lucky those that get better weather….
