Zebras Guesthouse

Zebras Guesthouse is seriously underrated. My first time in a guesthouse and I loved it. The African theme is just one of a kind and makes it a highlight of Geraldton. We stayed in the rhino room and was very comfortable. It comes with aircon, tv, bar fridge, and very cool African ensuite bathroom with rainfall style shower. There’s a fully equipped kitchen with ocean views might I add. A designated shelf in the fridge for every room. Coffee machine. Cooking equipment. Complimentary milk, eggs, bread and preserves. There is 2 large lounge areas (one being the semi-outdoor patio). Foxtel in the lounge room. Very nice atmosphere to chill out. It’s a few minutes walk to the stunning Tarcoola Beach. Why not watch the sunset everyday? Sharing the house is a good opportunity to meet and chat with new people. Marie-Lize even surprised us with beers and sparkling wine in the lobby to celebrate Australia Day. Overall incredible place and would love to come back! Thank you Zebras! 🦓

Exactly half way from Perth to Monkey Mia and couldn’t have had a nicer place to stay. Zebra’s brought back great memories of my time working in Africa but I’m sure anyone would find this themed guest house extremely comfortable and very tastefully furnished. My wife, daughter and I loved the Zebra Room and will definitely be back. Thank you.

Just before you arrive in Geraldton, turn left into Glendinning Road and there is the remarkable and lovely Zebra lodge guest house. Located 50 metres from a huge open and deserted sandy beach it is a fabulous place to stay. Themed by the south African owner around Zebras , the rooms are distinctive and excellently appointed. Our 'Zebra' room had a huge double bed, a large bath and shower, a walk in cupboard with a fridge, board and iron, air con - not to mention tea and coffee facilities, hair drier, big screen TV (with Netflix) and a good wi-fi. Downstairs - help yourself to bread, butter, vegemite, peanut butter a bit of fruit and pasta. Use the kitchen, enjoy the lounge and just reflect on how spotless, new and delightful the place is. Best B&B in our Australia holiday!

I needed a place to stop on my way to Monkey Mia and came by some reviews about Zebra’s Gueshouse. This place is incredible….exceeds expectations. It’s spotless and smells amazing! I always look for ratings on cleanliness and comfort and it is really a 10/10! The property itself is beautiful, with South African flair, high thatched roof and a real feeling of warmth and homeliness. There are several communal rooms as well as several rooms (each has their own SA animal name and infuence) that can be chosen for your own accommodation all with their own well appointed ensuite. All rooms have their own walk in robes and have their own picnic set that you can pack to take to the beach to enjoy the sunsets that WA are famous for. I am looking forward to staying here again on my way back to Perth.

We certainly struck gold when we found Zebras whilst researching our Wildflower adventure in WA. We felt that we would need a comfortable, elegant, well appointed place to rest for 3 nights in the middle of our visit, and Zebras ticked all the boxes and more. We stayed in the beautiful Zebra room, private, cosy, we enjoyed the balcony and the comfortable bed and great shower. Plenty of storage room and good amenities. The lovely downstairs space, the great shared kitchen facilities were all fully appreciated. The owner and her staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. We really enjoyed our stay, pity the weather was not as kind , but Zebras was the best place to be out of the wind and on occasion rain. We could also do some laundry. We loved our stay at Zebra’s guest house. The place is extremely clean and well presented. We loved the ambience that the theme provided. Lots of amenities, Apple TV and my children even had a little activity bag left on their bed that they loved. Nice and close to the beach as well as a short drive from town. Very easy to access and felt secure. Thank you for making our trip so wonderful.

Wow! Wasn’t expecting this!! Beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable accommodation in Gero!! Just wondering how we’ve managed to pass through Geraldton so many times without realising this place was here!! Great room and bathroom - serviced daily, if you wish. Large shared lounge and kitchen with lots of stuff for cooking provided! Very reasonably priced and a short walk to the beach. Will most definitely recommend to any friends passing through Geraldton. Also brought back very happy memories of a wonderful trip to South Africa for us a few years ago!! AWESOME!!
