I booked a smoking room by mistake, but I could sleep well without the smell of cigarettes. As a ryokan with a history of more than 150 years, we imagined an old wooden building, but it was a seven-story reinforced concrete building. Our room was a mixed Japanese and Western room with a view facing the Nagara River. We had a wonderful stay with this view. Nagaragawa Onsen was a brown hot spring due to its iron content. The hot springs were beautiful and clean, and I was able to spend a relaxing time. There is also a large parking lot, which was perfect for a car trip. 　我々の部屋は和洋混合部屋の長良川に面した景色の良い部屋でした。私たちはこの景色と共に素晴らしい滞在を得る事が出来ました。長良川温泉は鉄分成分の為褐色の温泉でした。温泉は綺麗で清潔感がり、ゆったりした時間を過ごす事が出来ました。広い駐車場もあり、車旅行には最適でした。

Both JR Gifu Station and Meitetsu Gifu Station are within walking distance, which is very convenient in terms of location. There is an arcade in front of the hotel, so access is safe even in bad weather. There is a convenience store about 200m away. Also, if you go out for a drink at night, it is convenient to access Tamamiyacho, the red-light district. Both check-in and check-out were simple and there was no problem. It was a single use (no breakfast), but I didn't feel any inconvenience in the facilities. You can get a toothbrush and shaver at the front desk. There was one used split chopstick under the air purifier I was trying to use, so I set the cleanliness to 2, but I didn't think the others were particularly dirty. It is a pity that the temperature of the air conditioner cannot be set. When I went to bed, I felt a little hot and had to open the window. It's not a new building, but it's cheap for a location, so it's recommended for business use, where you tend to just go back to your hotel and sleep at night.

We stayed on the second day of our solo trip to Shiga and Gifu. It is a very convenient location, a few minutes walk from JR Gifu station and MEITETSU Gifu station. There is a bus stop to each direction in front of you, and it is also perfect for sightseeing such as Gifu Castle (Gifu Park). The single room was a little wider with 15.9㎡ and the bed width was 160cm and comfortable. The desk was also large and easy to use in a study style rather than a normal wall arrangement. The facilities were clean. The bathroom and breakfast buffet are standard.

You can enter the elevator hall of Dormy Inn from the building ２ floor because it is connected by the adjacent parking lot (charged ２４ time １０００ yen) and the outer corridor. The front desk and the large communal bath restaurant are a little irregular on the ６ floor. The large communal bath is a simple alkaline hot spring, so the hot water is slimy, and I liked it because it was like a hot spring. I thought it would be better to eat in a small bowl and tongs than to divide it from a platter. Satisfaction is high. If you present a parking ticket to the front desk, you can settle the accommodation fee and parking fee, so it will be convenient for those who need a receipt.
