Amazing hotel near Nagaragawa River! I really enjoyed the kaiseki dinner and the breakfast in the morning, on top of the open air bath.

The size is unexpectedly large, with 14 tatami mats in the entrance hall, and the toilets are separated into dry and wet areas to create three floors. Every detail from hanging paintings to tea is in place. The hot springs in the hotel are great. The open-air hot springs on the rooftop. While soaking, you can see Gifu Castle on the top of the mountain, facing the four and a half-century buildings in the distance. I must recommend it. It is really amazing [Love]

Japanese-style hot spring hotel, the hotel can book a room type that includes dinner. Since we stayed for two nights in a row, the hotel also made very personalized arrangements. The meals for the two nights were different. We experienced kaiseki cuisine and there are also hiking trails in the surrounding area.

NO TATTOOS. Is the first sign you see when checking in. Perhaps if you have a small discrete tattoo, they will still permit you to use their hot-baths on site. Ideal for couples, seniors, less so for families with children. The beds were quite hard. The in-room food service was very good, as was the breakfast buffet. Both indoor and outdoor onsen was very nice, with the outdoor one having a nice view of Gifu Castle.

My wife recommended this hotel to me after two stays — and she was right! This is one of the best hotels I have stayed in in Japan: wonderful views of the Nagara river and the neighbouring mountain of Kinkazan; superbly comfortable room; courteous, professional staff; and a very tasty breakfast. I am already looking forward to my next visit — with my wife, this time!

This was the second time I stayed at the Hotel Park, and both times I went after grueling weeks of hard work. This hotel is absolutely lovely, with views into the trees over the river and up the mountainside, birdsong outside your window, overlooking a lovely park with trails. Inside are soothing baths with magnificent views, and the beds are perfectly comfortable, so be assured of restorative sleep. The breakfast is plentiful and delicious, served by gracious staff. I will book here again without hesitation.

Although it is located just 20 minutes by car from downtown Gifu, it is a scenic hotel located in a prime location among historic hotels along the Nagara River.The Japanese-style rooms are spacious and the Nagara River and cormorant fishing boats can be seen below.The top feature is an open-air bath with a view of Gifu Castle. Men and women take turns every day in the baths on the mountain side.The well-worn facilities and furniture have been carefully repaired and cleaned, creating a comfortable space.The front desk staff was surprisingly quick and responsive.If you visit the Mino region, please come again...
