It’s an older hotel that has been nicely renovated in the rooms, however, the bathrooms are a bit outdated and could use a little more cleaning. The balconies are also shared with the room next to you and on hot days like we had it only had a fan, and no AC. So I had to open the door all night, even though we shared a balcony. My wife was not so happy about that.

Probably one of the few hotel in the small town. Was surprised to see that there is no air condition at the hotel, we had to use the fan provided. The pillows were so flat! Restaurant service was slow but at least the food was great.

I booked this hotel specifically to see the Pancake Rock. It is located on the riverside in the center of the town, with convenient transportation. There are restaurants and supermarkets nearby. It is only on weekends that they are almost closed after six o'clock. The street is very deserted. The 1.5-meter twin room and bathroom are all Not big but enough. There is a small balcony with a view of the river. The decoration is simple and a bit old. It is clean. The west coast is a bit cold. There is a heater in the room.

Check-in is very convenient, there is a parking lot downstairs. Breakfast is very rich. The room is clean and the bedding is comfortable. What I didn't like was the shower. The water was big and small, and I couldn't control the water temperature. I reluctantly took a shower because I was worried about catching a cold. The bathroom window must be closed tightly, otherwise the wind noise will be terrible.

Corpthorne Greymouth is one of the tallest buildings in this small town, with 6 floors. The exterior is older, but the interior is better than the exterior. This is my second time staying here. I usually choose this hotel when traveling to Greymouth. Overall good value for money.
