This hotel was chosen as I liked that it is children-friendly inside out. We went by Didi from Guilin. The ride was about 1.5h long. Hotel was situated at the end of the road. It is exclusive yet convenient to go out with the bicycle. Beside the hotel is a bicycle/scooter rental shop. Prices are reasonable (bicycle was charged 40rmb for the whole day). There is a very serene cycling track along the river. You can ask the friendly staff for direction. There are restaurant options within 500m radius. In general meals are quite expensive in Guilin/Yangshuo (about 150rmb for three). Hotel provides delicious meals with comparable prices. Housekeeping was done well and hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming. The staff can help to arrange for car rides and help to purchase entrance tickets at discounted prices. I would recommend to take their car to attraction sites because such places are quite remote and it is almost impossible to find a Didi there and back. We had the family room, facing the river. Noise cancellation was ok. We just didnt like that the neighbours were slamming their doors and other tourists were loud. Anyway, the room itself was neat and spacious. The beds were very comfortable and they provided a stepper and a toddler toilet seat which were perfect for our little boy. The couch was quite a disappointment. It has no support and we dread sitting on it after a long day out. And we felt that it would be nice to have a cabinet to put out clothes instead of living out of suitcases. The hotel facilities are exceptional though! You can borrow fishing equipments to fish by the river. They provide football and bows and arrows for kids to play at the big field. There is a sandpit, an indoor and an outdoor playground, an outdoor pool, an area with chickens, guinea pigs, rabbits and fresh vegetables and i think you could also ask to use their bbq pits. We had a great eight days at this hotel and would highly recommend it :)

The hotel is located in Shili Gallery, Yulong River Scenic Area. The scenery is very beautiful. The room is close to the Yulong River. It has been upgraded to a Yulong River viewing room. The breakfast and dinner were great, the desserts, main dishes and drinks were all very good. It was a great experience! Thank you to Xiao Huang at the front desk for your thoughtful service!

When I come to Yangshuo again, what I look forward to most is to go back to the room. When I wake up and open the curtains, I will see a beautiful landscape painting⛰️ It seems that I have been integrated with nature. I can quietly sit in a daze on the large terrace all day long. The hotel is situated about 200 metres behind the Yulong river and nested in a quiet village, tucked not too far away from the tourist attractions of the Shili Hualang 十里画廊. The scenery is great and generally very, very calm. The management team is extremely helpful and friendly, even when we left a few items bought from them, we got a full refund quickly as it was the most convenient for us. Great for vegetarian - the hotel runs a good vegetarian (Chinese) options. Their western options are really limited to toast and butter served with coffee. Great if you are ok with a Chinese menu. We loved their cat, 包子 the most. The cute and chubby Garfield cat enjoys Yangshuo more than anyone there. Unfortunately their pool was under renovation during the hot weather season while we were there. Otherwise it could've been even better. Generally clean rooms. Great for couples, retirees and young families.

Best hotel I’ve stayed in in Yangshuo! My third time coming but first time at this hotel. They accept foreigners. Their service is wonderful, really catering to your every need, constantly providing you with free food and drinks, and the rooftop pool is really spectacular. The room with the pool on the roof is the cheapest room. Can’t wait to come back!

Scenery opposite the hotel is stunning, and the location is good for exploring Yulong River and Moon Hill. The building is traditional in style with a courtyard. Our room was immediately on the left as we entered, and the view of the mountains opposite is amazing. However, the hotel is north facing and our room felt cold & damp, the skirting boards had lifted away from the wall and there was some mould/rising damp behind the mattress. Taps in the bathroom had to be run a long time because the water was dirty, the owners told us this is because they use well water. Parking is available out front.

The blind box room is the most satisfying hotel I have booked so many. The food, lodging and transportation are arranged by the hotel; noon-dinner are all vegetables picked by us in the hotel vegetable garden, all green food.
