Location - Be mindful that there is more than one HomePlusInn, we accidentally went to the wrong one. This location is not in the city centre. There is a short 20 minute taxi ride away from the "downtown" area. The reason we chose this hotel was because of its convenient location near the Guilin train station. I think it only took us around 8 minutes to get there by foot.
Cleanliness - It was acceptable. The bedding seemed relatively new however I could smell cigarettes in the hallways and lift area.
Service - I was impressed by the free breakfast provided in the morning. There was a huge variety, including congee, noodles, buns, and other Chinese dishes offered. We were all full and satisfied after the breakfast!
Facilities - Very basic amenities were provided. They did not provide bath and shower gel. The TV had poor quality.

Friendly staff and basically clean rooms. The breakfast was slightly underwhelming but the stay was otherwise satisfactory considering the price point.

Very close to railway station- very convenient if you arrive to city late. Nice friendly stuff, but it just took too long to check and scan all documents. One disadvantage of the hotel room - smoking is allowed, so some of them smells not very nice

The house is not soundproofed, there are tour groups staying there, and the bathing facilities are broken. I have always thought Home Inn Select is okay, so I won’t stay there next time.

Not a great stay. The name is classy and the room pictures are stylish. When we arrived at the hotel, we found out that it was owned by Home Inn, which was a bit disappointing. After checking in, the room was small and the facilities were old, so forget it. At night, after washing my hair, I used a hair dryer. Halfway through, the hair dryer stopped and couldn't be turned on. Contact the front desk and ask for a hair dryer. The answer is: No more now🙄. Although it was a little late at that time, I wouldn’t say it was gone😰. The next morning I went to the first floor for breakfast and forgot to bring my breakfast coupon. The restaurant waiter kept nagging for a long time, saying that I didn’t have the coupon and didn’t know if it included breakfast. I asked her to check it with my room card, but she didn’t check it and kept saying, How can you not bring the coupon? The coupon is placed with the room card. . . Really speechless, I drank a glass of soy milk and left immediately. In short, I will never choose this hotel again in the future.
