This is my third time coming to Aomori for work. I always use Dormy Inn on business trips. The large public bath at the Dormy Inn in Hachinohe is minimal in size, but it has a nice view and is very comfortable. As a sauna lover, I was disappointed that the space for outdoor bathing was small and only one person could relax. Other than that, the service is top-notch, so I will use them again when I come to Hachinohe.

Business hotel in the center of Hachinohe. Bus from the airport is convenient because it stops in front of the hotel. There are department stores and restaurants around. The rooms are typical business hotels. Daiwa Roynet Hotel I used to stay in Aomori, but it looks quite old compared to Aomori. Some of them are sofa-style, but maybe because many people use them for luggage storage, the walls are dirty and scratched. Complete with empty refrigerator, pot, air cleaner, etc. Coffee picks up the dripping type placed in the lobby. The bathroom is old and small. This was better for Aomori. Amenities include shaving, toothbrush, brush, cotton swab, etc. It was good to have body towels. This time, I booked because it was the first place in Hachinohe by trip advisor, but I didn't think it was so good except for the location.

Immediately after the cancellation of self-restraint of moving across the new Corona prefecture, I stayed for 3 nights on a business trip. Single 1 night 4200 yen ＋ Parking was about 500 yen per night. It was a little cheaper than the hotel Mets and Toyoko Inn in front of the same station. It's a 3-4 minute walk from Hachinohe Station, but the hotel looks good along the railroad tracks so you won't get lost. Breakfast is toast, several types of bread, cereal ＋ boiled * and Winner ＋ soup. I didn't get tired of staying consecutive nights because the bread type changes every day. The room was clean. The bed is wide, so there is no room in the passage, but it is wide enough, and even if you sit in front of the desk, you can afford the chair and bed. The bathroom is not large, but there was no feeling of cramp. In front of Hachinohe Station, there is no food and drink except for the station building, convenience stores in front of the station, and several izakaya, so there are limited places to eat around the hotel. If you walk for about 15 minutes to the national highway, there are quite a few shops. The Hachishoku Center, which is about 10 minutes by car, can eat local food and enjoy the seafood market.

Alternatively, you may hire a taxi from Hachinohe Station to get to the hotel directly, but this will cost you 2200 to 2500 yen. Since Hachinohe is not a very tourist city, the hotel choices are limited. This hotel is somewhat an older hotel with furnishing a bit dated. The hardware of this hotel and lighting were dim and a bit aged. My assigned hotel room was a Japanese style room with tatami floor futon beds. The space was so tight that my family could not open up our carry-on luggage, unless we stack-up two futons beds to create space. Room cleanliness was just acceptable. My room had openable windows that allow fresh air to come in, which was good. On hotel 2nd floor , there is a restaurant, you can order breakfast there, or add breakfast when you make your hotel booking, and the meal was OK, and it was relatively inexpensive. I ordered the breakfast option with my stay because there were not too many restaurants to choose near this hotel. Something worth mentioning was when we checked-in, hotel reception gave each of my family member a choice of cup noodle free of charge. Also, in front of hotel reception, there were 2 good quality coffee/latte makers that you can make your own free coffee or latte anytime of the day free of charge. There were snacks and drinks vending machine (with beer as well) on 2nd floor (the reception floor). Hotel staff at front reception was also very friendly and helpful and able to communicate with some rusty English. Overall, I think this hotel is acceptable, but I will pick a more convenient location if available.
