I don’t think I’ve ever stayed in a cleaner room. It was spotless! The bed was super comfortable in the room was very quiet. The views off the porch were lovely. I really appreciated having the stove top and refrigerator because I was early in the year traveling and not much was open for food. I especially appreciated the eggs in the fridge that I was able to cook up in the morning for breakfast! I really hope I get to stay here again.

This was the best place we stayed during our Alaska trip. It is a small, 5-unit property, quiet and well-maintained. The room was very spacious with a queen bed, sofa, dining table and kitchen area. It was very nicely decorated and very clean. They had continental breakfast, but a little different. The room was pre-stocked with all the breakfast items, including raw eggs you could cook how you wanted, milk, juice, yogurt, cereal, bagels and lots of different condiments. The kitchen area was roomy and well stocked with dishes, utensils, and cookware. It also had a microwave and coffee maker. Everything was high quality. After a long and arduous 12 hour drive on the Alaska Highway, this was a very pleasant surprise. We would highly recommend this motel and if we are ever in the area again we would definitely stay here again.

We loved this place so much when we stayed last year that we stayed again this year. The unit has everything you need to prepare your own meals, yet they provided exactly what we wanted for a great breakfast, such as coffee, eggs, oatmeal, yogurt, milk, bagels, butter, jam, honey - I’m sure I’m missing a few things. The room layout is super comfortable and the owners are extremely kind and helpful. There’s a great little supermarket within walking distance down the street. We can’t wait to stay again and again!!!!

The Parkside Inn in Haines Junction was an absolute delight to stay in. The facility appeared to be updated recently and was and extremely clean. However, the highlights of the stay were in the amenities the owners provided. They had everything we could want and then some…… TV, internet, dish ware of all kinds, coffee maker, assorted breakfast foods (already in the room!), towels, extremely comfortable bed. The list could go on further. I would absolutely recommend this location to anyone looking to stay in Haines Junction. It truly felt like an oasis in the middle of our trip from Colorado to Anchorage!

We made a reservation here to spend the night while driving through, and wasn’t expecting much. But I really like this place! It’s tucked in between a couple other buildings, so there isn’t much room to roam around outside. But what they do have is very orderly and clean. There are tables and chairs, and a nice little deck on the end with comfortable deck chairs to look out over the valley and mountains. Don’t get too excited, there are lots of overhead power lines and houses too. But the mountains are beautiful, you can look right past them. Inside, the rooms are spacious, clean, and modern. Comfortable bed and blankets, nice table, couch. The kitchenette is smartly appointed. Theres a small freezer/fridge with ice and breakfast makings. Raw eggs, muffins, milk, juice, butter. There’s a hot plate to cook on, and all the pots, dishes, knives, plates you need. There is a dish strainer, dish soap, and sponge to clean up. Bathroom was big and very clean. There isn’t a manager on site, they leave you instructions on where your room is, and have a call-out box on the wall (they must live close by). Which I think is a good business decision. I really like what the owners have done here! If I were to open a motel, this is exactly how I would do it. Walls are thin, but I love this place and what they did. Highly recommended!!!

There were so many extra touches here I know I won’t do the inn justice. Our room was spotlessly clean, roomy and well furnished for travellers. The towels were a high end treat. The kitchenette was well equipped and I really appreciated the way breakfast items were left in the fridge for us to manage how we wanted. Beautifully made drapery and gorgeous quilt pieces took our room out of the ordinary. If ever in the area again, I would drive out of our way to stay here. Thank you to the owners for caring!

We booked Parkside Inn by pure chance as a place to stay near Kluane Park. And what a great place it ended up being! The room is pristean clean. Everything feels sparkling new. Real hardwood floors. Crown moldings. Fully stocked kitchnett. Breakfast supplies - eggs, cereal, milk, yogurt... You name it, it's there. There are also tables and chairs outside so you can have a meal with a view of the mountains. Couldn't think of a better place to stay in the area.

Our room at the Parkside Inn was extremely clean, comfortable, and well stocked each day with all the basics for a hearty and nutritious breakfast. The proprietor made us feel welcome and shared recommendations for places to get take out dinners in town. We heartily recommend this small inn as a base for hiking in the Kluane Park area.

This motel is amazing. It’s spacious, extremely clean, and the kitchenette is stocked with make-your-own breakfast items, such as eggs, English muffins, oatmeal, cereal, & coffee. And a view of the snow-capped mtns! The bed was super comfortable, which meant a great night’s sleep for us! There’s a little supermarket about 1/2 mile down the street and a laundromat a block away (the one directly across the street is closed).
