Hotel Tetora

I'm glad it's open when I go out drinking. I stayed overnight yesterday because I couldn't get home from a drinking party. I'm grateful that they were accommodating to my sudden stay. I heard they have a store in Hakodate, so I'd definitely like to use that store again. The main store is in Hakodate, so I used food from the vending machine this time, but I forgot to bring chopsticks, which was a problem. I couldn't find any nearby, so I forgot. It was too much trouble to go get it, so I just ate it as it was. It was a soup type, so I managed to get it, but it hadn't been mixed, so it had solidified at the end.

The standard free ramen and 1 hour free sour drinks are offered, but since it was a New Year's party, I wasn't able to eat them. It's a bit disappointing.

This time I stayed in a twin room, which was very nice. The room was spacious and easy to use. However, there are still not many amenities, so you have to go to everything temporarily, which is very troublesome. However, it is located in the center of town, so it is very convenient to go to the downtown area. Also, the mirror and desk are in different positions, which makes it very difficult to use, and there are no lights, so it is difficult to put on makeup. I think the bread service in the morning is good, but if they had a few types of salad available, it would be better for nutritional balance, so I hope they will do this in the future. I think the free soft drink service is very good, but I still need some side dishes.

I stayed here the day before and the day of the race for the Hakodate Marathon. It was conveniently located, just a 6-minute walk from the race venue. I guess it was a plan for runners, because when I checked in at the front desk, I was given a two-night ticket for salt ramen and all-you-can-drink chuhai for dinner. I was very grateful for this. The ramen after the race was especially delicious. The exterior of the building is not new, but the tatami room was comfortable to use, and there was a washing machine with a dryer on the floor, so I was able to wash my clothes right away after the race. It was also very convenient, within walking distance of Goryokaku. Unfortunately, the TV did not have BS reception, which was a shame.

Despite the low price, we were very satisfied with the free salt ramen, free drinks, and free porridge for breakfast! They even store frozen foods for you, and they have a parking lot! The staff are kind and highly recommended! We went to the Hakodate Ropeway at night, but you can get there by renting a car from the hotel! The rooms are reasonably priced, and Wi-Fi is also available, so it's very convenient! When we come back, we want to stay at this hotel again. I was so satisfied that I wanted to tell someone about it, so I tried writing a post for the first time!

I made a reservation on a certain website, but the Hokkaido resident discount was extended, and when I called to check, I was told that the Hokkaido resident discount would not apply if I made a reservation from a certain website, so I made a reservation from the hotel's website. I immediately checked if the reservation had been made, and was told that it was made, but not for the Hokkaido resident discount, and that I should make a reservation from the Hokkaido resident discount site, but no matter how many times I looked, I could not find the Hokkaido resident discount site, and when I called again, I was told that I could make a reservation by phone. If that's the case, I wish they had told me that I could make a reservation by phone from the beginning. Even though I made a reservation after several exchanges, the Hokkaido resident discount was not applied on the day. What does that mean? It also said that if I was a consecutive stay guest and refused all cleaning and other services, they would give me water, but even at the time of check-out, they didn't seem to give it to me, and I asked them myself, and they finally helped me. I tried to leave a review on the paper in the room, but the QR code wouldn't read. It was a trip I was really looking forward to, but it made me feel very bad.
