It's not far from Hakone Yumoto Station, but there is a steep slope when going up, which may be a bit difficult for those with larger suitcases.

Before the new corona, there were many foreign customers, so it may have been natural for luggage to be large. It's a little troublesome to put sheets on the double bed size futon by yourself, but it wasn't a pain when I thought about the comfort when I lay down afterwards. The communal kitchen is like a normal house, and you can cook your own meals with all the tableware, but I was told that it starts at 8:00 in the morning, so I was sorry that I could only use it for dinner because I had to leave early in the morning. It was nice to have a wide variety of instant drinks that you can drink freely. The check-in counter also serves as a bar counter, and I got a free drink ticket at check-in, so I got a cassis orange later. As an inn in Hakone, it may be a bottleneck that there is no hot spring, but I heard that a nearby day-trip hot spring facility can be used at a discount of 500 yen. It may have been mainly foreigners before, but I think it's a comfortable inn with good cost performance that Japanese people can be satisfied with, so I think it's perfect for people who want to stay cheaply in Hakone Yumoto.
