It is a very suitable hotel for anyone to stay together. This time I chose two days and one night including breakfast and dinner. Hotel staff are very friendly The restaurant is a buffet style with many styles and is well worth a try There are public hot spring facilities and saunas. If you need a private hot spring, you can make a reservation in advance for extra money. The cost is not too expensive (remember to buy a bottle of milk after soaking in the hot spring) There is also a hot spring park nearby for fun, but I was too busy to visit it this time. There are many places to check in, and friends who like to check in and take photos are highly recommended to stay in this hotel.

We used the Fuji Hakone pass and will have to stay one night in the Hakone area. We picked this hotel because it’s right next to the Gora station and later on we also found out that the bus stop to take the bus to Fuji area was just next to the hotel. They helped us to keep our luggage before we went further to Owakudani and Lake Ashi. Food is fantastic. We have dinner and breakfast at the common dining area. They didn’t offer free drinks like other onsen hotels might do. We stayed at the room with outdoor bath and found out later before the trip that the water is not real onsen water but regular water. However, with the location, this is unbeatable.

The location of this hotel is fantastic. It is just a few minutes walk to the Hakone shrine and tori gate on the water and about 15 minutes walk to the town by the water. From the town you can catch the pirate ship or ferry to the base of the cable car and head up the mountain to other attractions. The hotel grounds are lovely and full of pathways lined with Rhododendrum. The rooms are a great size and all have a view of the lake. I stayed on the third floor and in my opinion rooms on the third and fourth floors have a better view but the second floor rooms have a balcony and the first floor rooms have patios. The hotel provides yukatas and all toiletries you might need. The hotel onsen is small but nice and also has an outdoor bath. The hotel spa is very relaxing with a variety of services. I did not have dinner at the property but breakfast was very good. Every staff member I encountered was extremely professional, courteous and friendly. My only complaint is the mattress was very firm and I prefer some thing softer but that is a personal preference.

The location is very good, 2 minutes from the station. The room is clean and hygienic. There is a hot spring♨. There is a very interesting ancient street downstairs with a variety of food. There is a restaurant with fried pork cutlet and rice that is particularly delicious. The breakfast buffet in Shadian is also good. It's very rich and the waiter's attitude is okay. Very interesting archetecture, great view of Mt. Fuji and a good price were why we choose this hotel. We arrived around 6 PM and were told we couldn't use the restaurant because we didn't have a reservation. We had to drive back to interstate about 15 minutes to find something, there is nothing at all in the hotel vicinity or even a little snack shop on site! Buses very limited. The front of the hotel was nicely painted and landscaped, but the back with patio was pretty shabby. But it did have seating outside for great fresh air. Parking was free but coming back after dinner the covered parking was all full and we had to park lower level in the rain. The room had a strange layout, a 3-mat room for a passageway (luggage drop?) and a small bedroom that one person could get out of bed on one side, but the other person had to crawl over the middle of the bed in the night to get out. In the closet were 2 hard hats?? In case Fujisan starts spewing ash? I think maybe this room was the staff's emergency room when forced to stay. The public bath was disappointingly small, so got crowded quickly. And the view? Of course it rained so no view of Mt. Fuji at all. Not in the hotel's control, but left us disenchanted... 4-star hotel. I don't think so.

This is an inn that is easy to go to with few slopes and is within a moderate distance to walk from Hakone Yumoto Station through the street of a souvenir shop and in front of a liquor store and convenience store. You can buy your favorite snacks and drinks. Of course, there are all-you-can-drink alcohol at the inn. Towels from the participating schools of Hakone Ekiden were exhibited in the lobby, and the afterglow of the New Year remained. The large communal bath is also covered with tatami mats. The open-air bath is small, and the landscape is green on the slopes, reminiscent of the forest, mountain inns, and ancient capitals. The open-air, ２ or private bath seems to come out of the bathtub when the hot water decreases. Or it seems to come out when the hot water temperature drops. I've been standing in Oita since I first visited, but it seems that some facilities are aging. My wife said that there was a place where the shower holder was removed in the women's bathroom. However, overall, I didn't feel old and felt that it was a clean inn. There is no problem with the service of the staff, but I felt a little less energetic (quiet?) Compared to the series of Suiyun. You may be tired from working on New Year's Day. I didn't notice the open-air bath with a room from spring to autumn, but the bathtub that seemed to be made of pottery was cold and it was a little lukewarm even if I put hot water in it. Since it is boiling water, I thought it would be better to raise the temperature of the water more in winter. The restaurant is partly side-by-side, which is good for preventing infection, but it is difficult to do sukiyaki unless you line up well with left-handed and right-handed people. I hardly drank, but I don't remember applying at the time of booking, but it was a New Year's service or all-you-can-drink. For example, if you want to eat a meal of １ 10,000 yen at a local restaurant, you should come here on weekdays and stay here if you can make a reservation and eat dinner, so it is an inn that you want to go actively.

The location pretty close with the outlet. King moderate room enough if you travelling with 1 child and lucky me the window view straight to Fujisan. Breakfast also various and coffee, yakult for free!

As of 2020, the GoTo campaign has been held in Japan, and my house has also been using GoTo for one night. I checked in with an anxiety at the first hotel this time because there were many uses of a regular hotel. I am very satisfied from the conclusion. Because of satisfaction, I will write the facts I experienced as they are. First of all, the building is old and the whole has a vintage smell. This time, there was only a vacancy, so it became a Japanese room on the mountain side, but not only the atmosphere but also the smell. Is it mold? Is it a cigarette stained? It was a non-smoking room. However, when you open the Shoji, the view is surprisingly good, and the fir in front of you is red and beautiful. The voice of impression from the family. However, when the Shoji is seen nearby, the pier is full of dust. Of course, the wood is moldy. I opened and closed the doors so that I could not show my family.By the way, there was a curtain, but it was scary and I couldn't close it. I didn't touch it because I was going to fall in dust or mites. Also, there are small holes in the walls of the room. And the futon is laid from the beginning in the fight against infectious diseases, but this should never be turned over.If you look at the back of the futon with wet stains, you may not be able to sleep in the ordinary person. This was also a hidden thing to avoid showing to my family, and it seems like a ridiculous place to write it up, but it is not actually up to that point. All of the above is true, but with our small child, full of care for the children who are violent. It was not particularly concerned except for me who was allergic. There were also many elements to cancel the first thing in the room. The children were always a big squeeze, such as rental karaoke, rental bath, birthday surprise. The meal is not bad, and it is rough but feels comfortable service. I think the staff are hospitality. It is a mysterious hotel, and there are many guests during the holiday, but it is hardly suitable for people because the building is large. In the public bath, it is alone and honest. I recommend a rental bath here. The rental bath was renovated, clean and the hot spring was the best. I feel happy with the hot springs I put in with my family. During my stay for one night ３ times, I was able to use some of the 4 at any time because it was empty and I was able to use it without dissatisfaction. When you look at the other people's photos, the western rooms look beautiful, so the Japanese rooms are unrenovated. If you have a budget, you would like to renovate it, but it may be used for student training camps in the off-season. It was a mysterious and attractive hotel that I wanted to change the room and repeat. The room is not beautiful but I don't feel malicious there. It's cheap after all. Isn't the cospa good even if you deduct GoTo? Conclusion.

If you are visiting Japan for more than a few days you must have a Ryokan on your bucket list – here we were greeted with a traditional tes reception and departed with memorable gifts – our room was full on Japanese down to the futons and the miniature table and chairs – there was an open veranda with a private onsen (built for two hot spring pool) – great for early morning wakeup and relaxation before sleeping – the food was divine – the table spread with many dishes of delicious offerings – I can’t say enough here – the Ryokan was established 140 years ago and served travellers on the dusty road to Tokyo – there are still some of the original rooms preserved – a large public onsen (study the etiquette before taking a dip) and a sizable garden to wander around and work off the breakfast – we were there for four nights in an area full of places to go and see and I regret we did not use some of the time to just relax and enjoy the experience – as you can see we loved this place – if there was a six I would gladly give it.

Impressed by the infinity pool design of outdoor onsen on 6/F. Can watch sunrise with stunning view. Need to confirm if can go in for the morning during your stay as they switch gender for every day. It’s not a problem if you are staying for two nights. Food is nice and breakfast buffet has wide variety of dishes. Free shuttle bus is available to Garo station every 30mins.
