Hotel staff are very friendly The restaurant is a buffet style with many styles and is well worth a try There are public hot spring facilities and saunas. If you need a private hot spring, you can make a reservation in advance for extra money. The cost is not too expensive (remember to buy a bottle of milk after soaking in the hot spring) There is also a hot spring park nearby for fun, but I was too busy to visit it this time. There are many places to check in, and friends who like to check in and take photos are highly recommended to stay in this hotel.

We used the Fuji Hakone pass and will have to stay one night in the Hakone area. We picked this hotel because it’s right next to the Gora station and later on we also found out that the bus stop to take the bus to Fuji area was just next to the hotel. They helped us to keep our luggage before we went further to Owakudani and Lake Ashi. Food is fantastic. We have dinner and breakfast at the common dining area. They didn’t offer free drinks like other onsen hotels might do. We stayed at the room with outdoor bath and found out later before the trip that the water is not real onsen water but regular water. However, with the location, this is unbeatable.

The location of this hotel is fantastic. It is just a few minutes walk to the Hakone shrine and tori gate on the water and about 15 minutes walk to the town by the water. From the town you can catch the pirate ship or ferry to the base of the cable car and head up the mountain to other attractions. The hotel grounds are lovely and full of pathways lined with Rhododendrum. The rooms are a great size and all have a view of the lake. I stayed on the third floor and in my opinion rooms on the third and fourth floors have a better view but the second floor rooms have a balcony and the first floor rooms have patios. The hotel provides yukatas and all toiletries you might need. The hotel onsen is small but nice and also has an outdoor bath. The hotel spa is very relaxing with a variety of services. I did not have dinner at the property but breakfast was very good. Every staff member I encountered was extremely professional, courteous and friendly. My only complaint is the mattress was very firm and I prefer some thing softer but that is a personal preference.

I stayed at tiger no Yu for the first time. Despite Saturday nights, it was a reasonable price setting, so it was a high reputation, but I didn't expect much. However, it may be because I replaced meat when I began to swell, but the meat that I replaced a little bit smelled more subtle than the sweetness of meat than the first meat, and I thought ”eh” for a moment. I added ponvinegar and asagi, but my wife didn't notice it, so it may be my temper. The dessert vanilla ice cream is thick and the mix berry sauce is handmade? Breakfast is cute in appearance, but it seems that I arranged almost the thing that was made, and there is not much handmade feeling. The hot tofu and shake were warm. I think the customer service attitude is good, but I feel the shortage of personnel at meals. I think it is different if I use it on weekdays because this day is full. I think it is not possible to use this inn at this accommodation because I reduced the labor cost and the service. It is helpful to be able to stay at this content at this price in Sengokuhara.

The hardware of the hotel is good, but it is very expensive on the day of watching the fireworks. The price is more than 2,000 per night, but it is not easy to get a room. What I'm speechless about is that the automatic check-in process is so terrible. I spent a full 40 minutes in front of my iPad. The operator didn't understand Chinese or English and couldn't understand. He had to write down his identity information and his domestic address. If you take the bus, you must go to Tianyou. Although it is a 600-meter walk from Xiaochong Garden, the slope is really steep. The hotel has a bus to and from Gora. The earliest bus is 9:23 and the last bus back is 16:45. Get off and go through the tunnel to Gora Station. The room is large, but there are caterpillars hanging on the ceiling, and insects similar to bees are also seen. A large spider is seen in the bathhouse. There are many bugs in the mountains and it is unavoidable, but you still need to pay attention to cleaning. The front desk taught me how to heat hot water in the bathroom, but it didn't work. If you go to the bathhouse to soak in the hot springs, the hot water in the room doesn't matter. There are bathhouses in the east and west buildings, and the usage hours are different. There are no people every time I go there, and it feels good to reserve the baths.

The Japanese rooms are almost to small to house two people with luggage, mattresses very thin, no Aircon available (only air clean). Room was run-down, the entire hotel is in dire need for make-over. It surely has seen better days. Therefore, it is overpriced. On the plus side: Food was good and so was the Onsen. But one would find similar Onsen standards nearby, in fact, next door. The nicely sized swimming pool closes at 5pm, can’t tell it’s quality. Massage service available, good service.

The location pretty close with the outlet. King moderate room enough if you travelling with 1 child and lucky me the window view straight to Fujisan. Breakfast also various and coffee, yakult for free!

Impressed by the infinity pool design of outdoor onsen on 6/F. Can watch sunrise with stunning view. Need to confirm if can go in for the morning during your stay as they switch gender for every day. It’s not a problem if you are staying for two nights. Food is nice and breakfast buffet has wide variety of dishes. Free shuttle bus is available to Garo station every 30mins.
