I selected this hotel due to its reputation from a friends recommendation and in particular because of their outdoor swimming pool.
The weather is hot and humid so some pool time was what I desired.
On arrival I discovered the pool was closed but this hadn’t been advertised anywhere and I was exceptionally disappointed.
I was given access to the gym and indoor pool at the Banyan Hotel up the road and also a room upgrade by lovely staff who were understanding of my disappointment.
The rooms themselves are fine with a massive bed, lovely bath and shower in the bathroom.
Breakfast was good with a variety of food, with pastries and some cereals (didn’t see any muesli though).
The staff were very helpful during my entire stay, helping with deliveries and some basic questions as well as the aforementioned room upgrade.
Just wish the pool was open as it looks like the perfect space for relaxing.

1. Facilities and environment: The hotel has a nice view, is clean and sanitary, has a small balcony, and there is a small pond downstairs with ducklings 🦆 playing, which is very interesting;
2. The service is thoughtful, the breakfast is rich, and there are welcome fruits upon check-in. It is very close to Xixi Wetland Park, and it is convenient for travel. I am generally satisfied;
3. In terms of special services, the exclusive hotel travel photography is super value, and you can choose clothes at Banyan Tree. It is worth mentioning that the photographer [Travel Photography Xiaoqian] is very professional in taking photos, patiently and meticulously guiding, and each photo is very distinctive. I highly recommend it👍🏻;
4. In terms of suggestions, the park is relatively large, especially for people like me who have a particularly poor sense of direction. I get dizzy after turning around for a while. It is recommended to have some guidance. In short, I am very satisfied.

Not very good. The room is very small. There is only one bath towel and one pair of slippers in the room. When I booked it, it was a double bed room with two breakfasts. The ground of the underground parking lot is all dusty, just like a Xiangge construction site. When parking, I doubted whether it was an underground parking lot of a quality hotel. The small garden on the first floor is great, but unfortunately the schedule was tight and I couldn't have a good afternoon tea in the small garden. The hotel service is quite attentive. When I came back from the afternoon tour after the check-out time, they took the initiative to ask me to extend my room card when I entered the lobby (otherwise I couldn't open the door).
