Reviews for Hangzhou Hotels

JOYA Hangzhou Qianjiang CBD
4.9/51488 Reviews
Qianjiang New Town
The room is bright and comfortable. There are not many people at breakfast on weekends. The shower has a large volume of water and a suitable temperature. There are no bells and whistles, it is simple, practical and of high quality. Judy at the front desk is very dedicated, professional and kind. Under her management, every guest should feel at home. By the way, some details of the elevator entrance from the underground garage to the hotel should be better, otherwise this moving line will feel uncomfortable and make people feel that it is the temperament of a cheap hotel.

Goethe Hotel
4.8/51387 Reviews
Hangzhou Railway Station Area
It's near the main train station, and not far from the lake, but very disappointed, this is NOT a 5 star hotel. Room was ok but no soap or toothbrush, pillows too thin and soft, and the gym/pool was in a smelly basement. Staff was tedious and slow at check in. Also the top floor restaurant -- nice view -- but the food was bad and they didn't have half the things on menu.
Sofitel Hangzhou West Lake
4.6/52407 Reviews
West Lake Scenic Area
If you want to be a stone throw away from the West Lake, this is a fantastic place to be. With everything you would want to see right on your doorstep. Our room, although a little dated, was clean and comfortable. I do prefer a firm bed and this was on the soft side. Make sure to bring a USB plug as there were no usb sockets in our room. Also, for a room with a street view rather than a residential building, ask for an odd numbered room. Breakfast selection was great and varied.
Grand Hyatt Hangzhou
4.5/54191 Reviews
West Lake Scenic Area
PRO: - Strategic location, by the side of Xihu Lake and there were lots of restaurants and shopping mall behind it. CONS: Considering this is an International Hotel ”Grand Hyatt” - At first, they gave me a room that was not fully furnished (no bath tub and shower door), different than the pict that they advertised. I complained to the manager to give me another room. In the end she transfered me to the fully furnished one, but she seemed annoyed by my complain. - Compared to other Hyatt rooms that I've stayed, this room was the smallest. - Limited selection of breakfast for a 5 stars International hotel. Not worth for the price they charged.
Grand Metropark Hotel
4.7/57895 Reviews
West Lake Scenic Area
My family stayed in Grand Metropark Hotel in Hangzhou last Apr. 22-23. The hotel is beautiful and clean. The staffs are hospitable but so busy due to many visitors during that day. We only encountered minor problem because the card key malfunctioned and it needs staff intervention to open the door. Overall, i am satisfied and i can rate my stay 8 out of 10.
