Grand Hotel Traian

Refurbished since my last visit in 2019. No desire to stay anywhere else in Iași. This is a great hotel, it has atmosphere, good rooms, friendly and helpful staff. The location is excellent. The restaurant is very good for reasonably priced fine dining, absolutely no need to venture out on a cold winter evening to find somewhere else to eat. Breakfast is excellent and caters for all tastes.

Nothing to complain of! The hotel offers an elegant and modern accommodation. We had a room with the view, really big and clean! Kind, welcoming and professional team members! A delicious and rich breakfast buffet and really close to major attractions and shopping center.

It is an expensive hotel for what it offers. It doesn't deserve the four stars: the sheets on both beds in the room have holes. The beds are very narrow. The air conditioning is not working properly. If you get rooms with windows facing the roof of the neighbouring building, you won't be able to sleep at night because of the noise. There is the air vent for the whole hotel: the system switches on and off every 15 minutes. When it's working, it sounds like at the airport, when several planes take off simultaneously. They have problems with the Internet, the Wifi does not work most of the time. If you are here for business or a conference, the lack of internet will cause you big problems. The room access card is demagnetized all the time. Even after you take it out of the light slot. The elevators have problems too. Avoid this hotel!

Set on a square minutes from the main boulevard of beautiful Iasi this hotel is pure old school; grand facade, attentive staff, large rooms with enormous beds! thick carpets and heavy doors set in a building designed by Eiffel. Really enjoyed our brief stay and will stay again when in the city.

Fantastic Grand Hotel in Prime location Truly lovely renovated with beautiful furniture, very comfortable bed. Great bathroom with all amenities. TV with Netflix, fast and reliable Wi-Fi all over the hotel. Wonderful restaurant serving very rich choice of breakfast and culinary delights for lunch and dinner. Very professional staff, extremely helpful front desk crew. I got exactly the room I wanted to enjoy both the fantastic comfortable hotel plus the lovely view on this very welcoming city with so friendly people. Thank you for the Perfect stay!

Nice hotel, good bed and confortable, very clean. Every time i have been there the staff are friendly, professional and speak with an excellent english. The room are spacious and confortable. The only small thing missing in this hotel is a swimming pool or a spa

We spent 2 nights at his hotel and I'll recommend it to my friend who want to visit Iasi, for the very kind staff, emplacement (in the city center). Breakfast ok ( maybe the coffee could be improve) but near to the hotel you can find nice coffee shops.

A beautiful hotel really well placed in the centre of Iasi. Spacious room with stunning views across Iasi. Plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby. The hotel oozes history with numerous illustrious former guests. Topped off with a great breakfast, the Traian is a very hard hotel to beat!

I have stayed at the Traian many times and once again it is the best hotel in Iasi, . The staff are fantastic, the breakfast is great with lots of hot and cold choice, and the rooms are very clean, bright, airy and spacious. You couldn't ask for more as well as being in a great location and a very reasonable price. Oana, Anca and Roxana pulled out all the stops for and during my visit, very tentative and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. Looking forward to my next visit, happy customer,
