Whole hotel was kept freezing, the room itself was freezing and they give you the equivalent of 3 sheets for bedding. We tried to use the heater in the middle of the night but it omitted a terrible burn smell that irritate our sinuses the entire night. The heater also wouldn't go above 71.2. Based on the rooms I'll never stay at this property again. Service was good at the Tavern restaurant, check in was a little bit lacking (lackluster attitude).

The hotel was nice and felt comfortable. There were only three working elevators out of 8. Only one of those elevators actually requirred a card key to go up which is a safety concern. We had a club room but the club wasn't opened on the weekend. The coffe maker in the club was out of order so no coffee at all. I paid full club price for the entire week but could only use it for 5 days.

Room 713 has peeling paint in shower and both drains are slow to drain.
Also why not use fitted sheets? Plain sheets simply come off after one night…

Whenever we go to Jacksonville for a show or other special event, we like to stay over to make a mini-vacation of it. Our favorite place to stay is The Hyatt. It’s convenient to theaters and football stadium as well as concert venues. There are good dining options inside and outside of the hotel. River view rooms are excellent. It’s a well-managed and comfortable property.

The hotel itself is loud. Not good for light sleepers. Dinning was terrible. Could not get service after seated in 2 restaurants. Staff looked at you and walked away

Beds were very comfortable, room was clean.
Toiletries were minimal/not full.
Bottled Water in the room costs $3.00
Not what I would have expected with a big name hotel.
Parking was comped, that's a plus.
Staff was very helpful and professional.

I enjoyed my stay at the Hyatt despite it took awhile for the hot water to kick in and it was at a lower pressure but other than that…I’ll be back.
