Krishna Prakash Heritage Haveli

What a lovely place under the main fort in Jodhpur and next to the stepwell and ghanta ghar. The place was very clean, the food very good, and the staff was excellent. It is in the middle of the city so it is a bit difficult to get to, but then all places in Jodhpur city are difficult to get to with the narrow streets. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Jodhpur.

This hotel is an excellent heritage property, with rooms around a large courtyard, overlooking the magnificent fort! Location was great, shops nearby for souvenirs and the impressive historic step-well minutes away on foot. Tony kindly gave warm advice regarding our safety whilst walking around and shopping, which was gratefully received. We had a tour already booked, however their walking tours looked great and they could also offer the fort zip line, cooking tours and more. Rooms are spacious, bed was very comfortable and clean and bathroom was excellent and modern with guidance of how to turn on the hot water for your room to use at anytime. We had the bonus of a balcony with incredible views to the fort! We stayed for two nights and on the first there was wedding party preparations, nextdoor in a residential property. Despite the loud music going on very late, this was in no control of Mr Nikhil who kindly offered an alternative room for us further away. The next evening we were lucky enough to see the wedding procession go through town. This occasion was an exception, however with this in mind you are in the middle of the town so can expect to hear noises which for us, add to the atmosphere of the place. Fantastic food at the restaurant, the best we have had in India. Served by Shiv and Sumit, we had very generous portions, all delicious and incredible value, all overlooking the famous fort, we wish we could stay longer! Thank you Nikhil and team!

Hotel is placed right in the center of the old town. Easy 10min walk uphill to the Fort. Room was pretty small and non charming. Breakfast was served upstairs in a "restaurant room" which was not very nice. Bathroom was not in good shape, you better didnt have a closer look

Our stay in the hotel was amazing. Room very clean and pleasant, food in the restaurant great, stuff so friendly and helpful. Located few minutes from the fort. After walking through the loud and crowded city, swimming in the fresh and beautiful pool was wonderful. We highly recommend this location in Jodhpur.

The bathroom in the room smell horrible, and you feel like it’s a trashy public bathroom. The smell stayed consistently throughout our stay. The room is kind of dated - with dirty switches and the front lock hanging by a single bolt. The most annoying part - the rooms do not get WiFi. The network coverage is extremely bad and you have to step out of your room to get some slow network. We complained about it multiple times but it was not fixed and at one point we were told to just deal with the bad (rather non existent) Wi-Fi. Also do not expect quiet in the room as you can hear loud noises, from people just talking outside the room to chairs being dragged around in the floor above, all day. The staff did give us some good tips to walk around the city though, and offered help with navigating the city. Unfortunately, we will not be coming back here

Location is its biggest advantage. Nestled in the by lane, just near to Ghanta Ghar. While it’s near to bustling old town area, but it’s in a quiet, peaceful place. Ambience: charming, very well cleaned, well appointed lobby with old world charm. Service: is courteous, prompt, professional, and very helpful, both by Mr. Nikhil, the owner, and staff to large extent. Rooms: are spacious enough to accommodate two people with luggage very well. Bathrooms have high end fixtures. 24/7 hot water is available. Grab bars, soap holders , hand towel holder can be provided. Good toiletries are provided. Fresh bed sheets and good linen. Room cleaning could have been done every day or at least alternate days. Dining area: it’s one of the best spots on terrace, right opposite Mahendragarh fort. It’s very nice experience to have an evening dinner. Food: it’s very fresh and delicious. Service can be improved. One veg thali is sufficient for 2 people. Price, both room and at restaurant, are just reasonable and a very good value proposition. But we found cab prices are 30% higher as quoted at Hotel, to what we paid on our day trip to Ajmer, Pushkar or even half a day tour of Bishnoi village trip( which in itself pure washout). Wouldn’t recommend Bishnoi village trip, as there’s not much content from most of the service providers. Overall a great stay at KP.

This hotel is quirky and awesome. Every corner of the hotel is a photo or a selfie spot. Very nicely decorated. The view of the fort from the roof top restaurant is just awesome! Go before 9 pm as fort lights switch off at 9. The food in the restaurant is top notch and very economical. The waiters are super helpful. The owner/***ager is also very helpful and can help with local transport and sight seeing. They arranged for a free pickup from train station. It's an old haveli and it has steep stairs. Difficult for senior citizens and anyone who has difficulty in walking. It is in the old part of Jodhpur with closely packed houses around and very narrow lanes. So if this not your thing, don't go here.

This palace has a strategic position not far from the clock tower. The street is quiet with ***y shops around. We got a magnificent room with private terrace and view of the blue city and fort. No hot water but not a problem since hot weather Good wifi connection Amazing restaurant on the terrace, no booking required for the guest and cheap prices.

Krishna Prakash Haveli is conveniently located for access to the old town, the fort, and the clock tower market area. It's authentic and perhaps in need of some renovation, but its rooftop restaurant provides a great view with good value food. On that note, a special mention for the breakfast pancakes. The ***ager was also very helpful (e.g., made train reservations for us).
