We chose the motel based purely on price and had no great expectations; just a clean, comfortable place with wifi to spend a night. We have certainly paid more to stay in worse places, and we would recommend Park Drive Motel to other families travelling through.

The man in the office was super nice.
They have a cute resident cat.
Overall, happy with everything, free wifi, tv, kettle, complimemtary tea, coffee, sugar and biscuits.

Perfect for a quick overnight stay whilst travelling. Beds were comfortable and shower was great. Yes it’s old and tired and surroundings are a little bland, but it’s great value for money.
A negative for me was all the ash trays outside the rooms which encouraged people to sit outside their rooms and smoke, resulting in the smoke coming straight into the rooms. Shoving a towel under the door helped, but maybe discourage smoking in this area?

Nothing too wrong with this motel. Only stayed one night though. Not super new but well looked after. Had TV, microwave, fridge, controllable air conditioning.
Main issue - and it's not a fixable one but just to keep in mind - is that it's about a 10-15 minute walk to the main or high street of town, but a good 30 minutes to the train station.

It was nice and quiet and clean. My only complaint would be the bed. I think its time for a new mattress, otherwise I was very happy with the room.

Adequate but showing its age. WIFI was far worse than the last time I stayed. Pretty well non-existent.
