Sopka Hotel

We stayed in a business suite. A clogged sink awaited us in the room; the plumber came on the second day and walked in with dirty shoes without taking them off! In the room there were clearly counted two tea bags and one bottle of water. After asking to replenish the tea supply, we assumed that the staff would realize to bring a second robe, towel and slippers. But no... We were not offered a second key for the room either. The bed is not King Size, the mattress on the side where the husband slept is squashed, the pillows are very hard, it is impossible to sleep. The room needs renovation: the towel shelf is loose, the handle on the door in the bathroom is also loose, the hygienic shower does not work. The only thing that softened our stay at this hotel was the restaurant, which was really five out of five. Останавливались в номере бизнес люкс. В номере нас ждала засоренная раковина, сантехник пришел на второй день, прошел в грязной обуви, не соизволив разуться! В номере лежали четко пересчитанные два пакетика чая и одна бутылочка воды. После просьбы пополнить чайный запас, как мы полагали, персонал догадается принести второй халат, полотенце и тапочки. Но нет… Второй ключ для комнаты нам тоже не предложили. Кровать не King Size, матрас со стороны, где спал муж, продавлен, подушки очень твердые, спать невозможно. Состояние комнаты желает лучшего, полка для полотенец болтается, ручка на двери в ванной комнате - тоже, гигиенический душ висит как мебель и не работает. Единственное, что смягчало наше пребывание в этой гостинице - так это ресторан, действительно на пять из пяти.

Look at no other hotel in the city - it is the best! A bit away from the traffic but that is why it is so precious! The building in itself is stunning. The views of the river Amur are spectacular. The rooms are spacious and grand. The service is wonderful, the housekeeping is impeccable. But breakfast can be improved.
