Hotel Galicya

Avoid because of school trips, with coach load of boisterous, noisy children. However staff are nice and helpful. Tram stop nearby convenient but can be noisy quite late at night and early morning. Breakfast is Ok but not great. Rooms very dated but clean.

Functional hotel a few tram stops outside of the city centre. It was used as a venue for school trips which could be an issue. It looks a bit dated and the bar closes early. There are a few bits near the hotel but lacks wider amenities. The scrambled egg at breakfast was lovely as were the staff

We stayed for 3 nights; hotel is located on the outskirts rather than the old town which we were aware of on booking and didn’t cause a problem as we planned to be out and busy. That being said, public transport links are abundant and you can get on the tram on the main road just outside. There are several zabka shops in the vicinity aswell as some fast food places if you need them. The room was basic and slightly dated but perfectly clean, comfortable and functional with two twin beds and a sofa chair bed. There is a small kettle and tea and coffee supplied but we found these were not replenished. The bathroom was fine and the shower was excellent. Hairdryer was not good though so would recommend bringing a travel dryer. Breakfast was of a reasonable quality and there was a good choice including the usual continental options. All in all this was a perfectly fine budget option if you are not fussed about being in the old town itself.

Stayed at this hotel for three nights, it is clean although a little dated, fresh towels and a hot shower. A small kettle with tea and coffee. Bar and restaurant were fine and served us quickly and efficiently. The hotel is located outside the city of krakow so trams or taxi is essential, we found these no problem to navigate.

Fantastic hotel. The rooms were clean, and the staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, and we ate in the restaurant one evening and really enjoyed the food. Staff sorted out our trip to Auschvitz with a hotel pick up and drop off, and they were also really helpful when it came to advice about the trams. Would definitely stay here again

Very good alternative in Krakow with guarded parking close to the city centre. Very good breakfast and kind and helpful staff. Clean and also very comfortable beds. However rooms are dated and revamp urgently needed.

Very lovely hotel. We stayed for 5 nights, the staff were very nice, breakfast was great every morning, I love the variety they provide. The location is great as it is just outside the city, so you can take the bus or tram which are about a 5 minute walk from the hotel. There are a few shops nearby if you need to nip out for anything. The staff were very kind and helped me set up a surprise for my partner as well. 10/10 stay, definetely recommend!
