This was an absolutely lovely stay. The room was clean, and when the staff cleaned the room while I was out, they went above and beyond, organizing everything, and everything perfect. The staff was fantastic and very attentive, especially Sherry Aaron (thank you so much for everything!). Location, staff, rooms were all wonderful. Highly recommend.

A very nice hotel with friendly service in a good location. It is between two stations on two different lines of the subway with an easy walk about 10-15 minutes either way. There are also a lot of shops and restaurants within a few minutes walk or a short cab ride. The hotel buffet breakfast had a lot of choices with both Chinese and western dishes and very good service. The room was very large and clean and comfortable. Tv had English news channel and the Wi-Fi worked well although I seemed to only be able to log in one device using the same phone number to get a code. The front desk staff spoke English and were very kind and helpful. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

I thought this hotel was good value for money, considering its 5 stars and location in downtown Kunming. The room was spacious and the bathroom was well appointed, with a lovely bath(with very hot water which I often find lacking) and a shower with great water pressure. The only downsides were that I found the room itself(not the bathroom) to be a bit outdated in terms of the fixtures and fittings. Also, the gentleman who checked me in wasn’t particularly friendly. He couldn’t speak English(which is not a problem at all, although I would expect it in a five star hotel) but he didn’t say a word to me throughout the entire check in process until he gave me my key. There’s much more to communication than just language and I felt his customer service skills were a bit lacking considering his position on a reception desk.

The location of the hotel is very good, right in the city center and within walking distance from the old street. It is also very clean. The room is very good and the bedding is very comfortable. The Hotel is located in the center of Kunming. Two metro lines just nearly. One line direct deserve the airport and the other one direct rich the south railway station. By foot one can go to the historical city center. We booked the suite 2026 which is very spacious with big windows, overview the city. The decoration is outdated. The bed is pretty old. Sometimes the AC doesn’t work well. Breakfast is very good. All the stuff are very helpful and friendly. Overall is not a real 5 stars hotel but the price is very fair for what you get.

This is a hotel converted from a residential building in the alley with three rooms. Because it is close to Cuihu, it is a good resting place to play in Cuihu. The rooms are located in the garden, with a beautiful environment, a public tea area and free books to borrow. I booked a deluxe king room on the third floor, the room was very large and clean, the bed and pillows were very soft, the bathtub was very good, the room was a garden terrace, the air was very good. The western restaurant next to it was very good, and I tasted Tucker and Hamburg by the way this stay, and it tasted good! Come to Kunming to play for a friend who wants to find a quiet place, you can take a reference and try this hotel! Really recommended!

You'd want to stay here for the location, just northwest of the hotel is a street with a bunch of breweries and restaurants, including Salvadors, an American-opened restaurant/pub that all the foreigners go to and has a great vibe for someone looking for a more lovely atmosphere and solid Western food. The hotel is on the north side of cuihu lake which is nice to walk around and also hosts Yunnan University, though you need to register thru a qr code to enter the university. Hotel room itself was quite small but fair for its price. Citigo is like a boutique small office hotel, there's a meeting room downstairs you can book for meetings or just work out of, and a small bar/cafe you can order drinks from. At night around ten? Or eleven pm they serve Yunnanese noodles. Lounge area outside the hotel lobby is large and overlooks the lake, nice spot for remote workers like me and you can grab some beers from the bar. Would definitely use for my next visit to Kunming, largely for the location which can't be beat.

This is one of my all-time favorite hostels, and this is my second time there; my first was 10 years ago. I couldn't wait to go back. The neighborhood around Green Lake Park is so relaxing, but you are just a short walk from some othe r attractions like the old street. There are always interesting travelers to hang out and chat with. They just need to improve their maintenance a little. Some small improvements that wouldn't even cost them very much. For example, a missing shower curtain in one of the showers so that your clothes don’t get wet, or a toilet seat that isn’t even attached to the toilet. These could be fixed with minimal effort.

This hotel is in an absolutely great location. It’s vibey and full of vibrancy. The rooms are a little in the small side but that okay. The shower was great! Loved the welcome fruit. The breakfast didn’t have much for vegetarian eaters. But it was great that it was till 12:30. Overall great hotel! With a nice artsy vibe and a great skybar view and swimming pool. Downside was none of the staff spoke English. For an international chain this was shocking .

The Orange Hotel is good but not perfect. It was well-located (near shops, restaurants and Green Lake) and clean but we had some minor problems with the service and the facilities. It took persistence and two maintenance visits to fix the fridge, and the lighting was unnecessarily complex and unintuitive. There was also no direct lighting for the dining table, so we had to eat in the dark. Finally, even if not perfect, the Orange Hotel was great value and we would happily stay there again.

It was a well maintained and trustworthy hotel. I could feel professionalism in hotel management here. The restaurant was great, too. But I wish I could have had a green lake view from my room. I only saw houses and buildings. One thing I would like to suggest to the hotel is to remove an ash tray and a match box which most guests do not need, but some guests might be tempted to smoke.

I think the hotel's service is a bit rigid. It was only on the day of departure that I saw that the hotel had airport pick-up service, so I immediately contacted the front desk, but the front desk told me that I had to contact it 24 hours in advance. I felt that the service was very rigid for such a big hotel. , there is no B&B that is humane. The hotel room is small, but the environment inside is pretty good and the hygiene seems to be very clean. The hotel is very close to Green Lake. It only takes 5 or 6 minutes to walk to this location. I am very satisfied with it. (I have to complain that Ctrip’s hotels are more expensive than those booked on Qunar.com. Now that I have experienced both, I feel that the software usage process is smoother)

The location is very good. It is very close to Yunnan University, Military Academy, and Cuihu Park when you exit the alley. Turn left to Yuantong Temple. The room is not on the road and is very quiet. The parking lot seems small, but it is enough. There are vacancies every time you pass by. Because there are not many guest rooms. The bedding is good, the pillows and mattresses are not the kind that are very foamy and high. The pillows are very flat. Not high, and the support is good. Chinese breakfast rice noodles, noodles, steamed eggs, fried eggs, fried noodles, fried rice, several kinds of stir-fried vegetables, white porridge, mung bean porridge, buns, and the most important ones are fried dough sticks. This is what you call a boutique hotel that is relatively new. The service is excellent. The front desk is friendly helpful. The room is a fairly good size with all the amenities. Nice decor modern they offer a free popcorn and a specialty drinks when I first check in. The price is less than half of the price of nearby green lake, a much much older hotel. Overall, I’m happy with this hotel and I will stay again. Hotel is clean offers free laundromat on the second floor with free detergent. Breakfast is good as a varieties of food and the free coffee through a state of the art coffee machine.

Take the elderly and children out to see a doctor or play, you can consider this hotel.

The room can also feel good. The service can provide tea sets. It can be perfect with tea. Sitting downstairs can slow down. Kunming air is dry. The mineral water hotel has enough pipes. There is no need to call. The aisles on each floor have a lot of mineral water that can be taken at any time.
