It was clean and comfortable to stay. It was cheap and worth comsiderimg with price. The staff are nice especially one of staff Sasa helped my friend who lost her stuff in hotel to find it and sent it to us later by delivery. My friend wants to praise sasa's kindness a lot.

The encore is located next to "Play Street" where there are a large number of small and medium size restaurants. It is pretty far from "Downtown Kunming" but between inexpensive taxis and DiDi (China Uber) it is easy to get to anything. About a 30-40 minute ride from the airport. The staff spoke little English but are used to translation software so be prepared. They are helpful and friendly.

I was visiting Kunming for three days. I selected this hotel based on the review saw at this website. But I came across the experience not fully true as the other reviews. The room had some repairs I believe but it was not closed after repairs. Room is not spacious when a large bed placed. Breakfast is not that attractive for anyone.
