I thought this hotel was good value for money, considering its 5 stars and location in downtown Kunming. The room was spacious and the bathroom was well appointed, with a lovely bath(with very hot water which I often find lacking) and a shower with great water pressure. The only downsides were that I found the room itself(not the bathroom) to be a bit outdated in terms of the fixtures and fittings. Also, the gentleman who checked me in wasn’t particularly friendly. He couldn’t speak English(which is not a problem at all, although I would expect it in a five star hotel) but he didn’t say a word to me throughout the entire check in process until he gave me my key. There’s much more to communication than just language and I felt his customer service skills were a bit lacking considering his position on a reception desk.

The stay was very comfortable, the 2-meter bed was big enough, the breakfast was very rich, there were so many varieties, it was dazzling, you can eat 6 eggs per egg, hot orange juice, and yogurt sold in the mall, you can drink all kinds of coffee, flower cakes, hand-picked ones Pancakes, pancakes, fruits, etc. There are also popcorn, chicken buns, etc. in the children's area. The restaurant is very big. I took photos of them all. Overall, I am very satisfied.

The Hotel is located in the center of Kunming. Two metro lines just nearly. One line direct deserve the airport and the other one direct rich the south railway station. By foot one can go to the historical city center. We booked the suite 2026 which is very spacious with big windows, overview the city. The decoration is outdated. The bed is pretty old. Sometimes the AC doesn’t work well. Breakfast is very good. All the stuff are very helpful and friendly. Overall is not a real 5 stars hotel but the price is very fair for what you get.

I really enjoyed my stay at this stylish boutique hotel. All staff treated me kindly and professionally. I forgot my charger and the reception found me a working replacement. This hotel had always been top in my list of hotels for family staying, shopping and eating since it is so convenient to the Kun Ming Old Street and to all the shopping centers and eateries. About an hour travel from Chang Shui Airport and very accessible by taxi and 20 mins walk from Dong Fang Plaza Subway station. Good customer service, fast and friendly staff. Easy check in and check out process. Maybe the breakfast is kinda of plain and not very suitable for kids, nice view of Kun Ming City at 28th Floor during breakfast time.

This is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. It's conveniently located in the charming old town of Kunming, and is only a short walk away from Wuyi Road metro station. The hotel itself is a beautiful old building with a central courtyard providing a tranquil place to sit and rest. My room was impeccably clean and tastefully decorated. The bed was very comfortable, the shower worked perfectly, and the balcony gave a nice view of the courtyard. The bath was a pleasant surprise, however, I would prefer to have extra living space instead of the bath and just have the shower. However, with this being a historic building I realise that the owners might be unable or reluctant to demolish and rebuild parts of it. Also, it would be nice to add a bar of soap and some facewash to the bathroom (which was already well-stocked with shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, and handwash). Before and during my stay I experienced some of the best service I've ever had. The manager contacted me before I arrived and even added my WeChat to give me the location of and directions to the hotel, then made me feel welcome when I arrived and continued to do so during the entire stay, with offers of free homemade flower cakes and tea (both of which were delicious). I'm sorry to leave this wonderful place so soon and I'll definitely return!

Facilities: The hotel's overall ins wind is mainly white, the room is fully equipped, there is a faint aroma, clean and tidy. Service: Due to the flight, it was already more than two o'clock in the morning when I arrived at the hotel. The front desk lady was still patiently guiding the way and receiving us. I sent Yunnan special flower cakes for check-in. The location is opposite the Bailian Building, behind the Kunbai Da parking lot, and the night rest is very quiet. The room we stayed in had windows but was blocked by billboards. If you mind this, you can confirm with the boss when booking. ～ After leaving the hotel, turn left and see the archway of Zhongai Road, and then you can enter the old street! Very good stay experience, if you come to Kunming again, you will consider it here!

The hotel service is very good and the transportation is convenient. The outside looks ordinary but the rooms are good. However, the facilities need to be improved. The shower nozzle cannot be adjusted at night and can only be sprayed towards the door. However, the seal of the bathroom door is not good and water leaks all over the outside. The hygiene is not careful enough, there is dust accumulation in some places, and there are short hair stubbles on the pillows on the bed that do not belong to us.
