This was an absolutely lovely stay. The room was clean, and when the staff cleaned the room while I was out, they went above and beyond, organizing everything, and everything perfect. The staff was fantastic and very attentive, especially Sherry Aaron (thank you so much for everything!). Location, staff, rooms were all wonderful. Highly recommend.

I thought this hotel was good value for money, considering its 5 stars and location in downtown Kunming. The room was spacious and the bathroom was well appointed, with a lovely bath(with very hot water which I often find lacking) and a shower with great water pressure. The only downsides were that I found the room itself(not the bathroom) to be a bit outdated in terms of the fixtures and fittings. Also, the gentleman who checked me in wasn’t particularly friendly. He couldn’t speak English(which is not a problem at all, although I would expect it in a five star hotel) but he didn’t say a word to me throughout the entire check in process until he gave me my key. There’s much more to communication than just language and I felt his customer service skills were a bit lacking considering his position on a reception desk.

The stay was very comfortable, the 2-meter bed was big enough, the breakfast was very rich, there were so many varieties, it was dazzling, you can eat 6 eggs per egg, hot orange juice, and yogurt sold in the mall, you can drink all kinds of coffee, flower cakes, hand-picked ones Pancakes, pancakes, fruits, etc. There are also popcorn, chicken buns, etc. in the children's area. Maybe the best Service that i have ever experienced . We have made a wechat group and the hotel stuff was always ready to reply every of my question, helped with locations in the city , even told me the location of H&M :) About the hotel: I SLEPT WELL (what is not usual in a hotel) The walls are thick so u never hear someone aisle. Bed is the perfect softness , mattresses are new, pillows too! The amenities of the hotel are in a very cool retro style. The Wai Mai ( food delivery) is very quick to this location. My overall experience of this hotel is five star ⭐️ I repeat again the most important thing that you need from a hotel is a good well rested night sleep and you get it here, i have stayed 8 nights ! Enjoy !

You'd want to stay here for the location, just northwest of the hotel is a street with a bunch of breweries and restaurants, including Salvadors, an American-opened restaurant/pub that all the foreigners go to and has a great vibe for someone looking for a more lovely atmosphere and solid Western food. The hotel is on the north side of cuihu lake which is nice to walk around and also hosts Yunnan University, though you need to register thru a qr code to enter the university. Hotel room itself was quite small but fair for its price. Citigo is like a boutique small office hotel, there's a meeting room downstairs you can book for meetings or just work out of, and a small bar/cafe you can order drinks from. At night around ten? Or eleven pm they serve Yunnanese noodles. Lounge area outside the hotel lobby is large and overlooks the lake, nice spot for remote workers like me and you can grab some beers from the bar. Would definitely use for my next visit to Kunming, largely for the location which can't be beat.

I think the hotel's service is a bit rigid. It was only on the day of departure that I saw that the hotel had airport pick-up service, so I immediately contacted the front desk, but the front desk told me that I had to contact it 24 hours in advance. I felt that the service was very rigid for such a big hotel. , there is no B&B that is humane. The hotel room is small, but the environment inside is pretty good and the hygiene seems to be very clean. The hotel is very close to Green Lake. It only takes 5 or 6 minutes to walk to this location. I am very satisfied with it. (I have to complain that Ctrip’s hotels are more expensive than those booked on Qunar.com. Now that I have experienced both, I feel that the software usage process is smoother)
