Kyoto Umekoij Kadensho

Kyoto Station Kyoto|1.28km from JR Nishioji Station
Stayed at Kyoritsu Resort for the first time other than La Vista. Put your shoes in the clog box at the entrance like a Japanese-style ryokan. It goes straight up on the tatami mat. I really like the relaxing style, but I'm worried about customers who don't even wipe the carry case. I think it's the same as walking on a tatami mat with bare feet. It would be great if you could use disposable paper towels to wipe at the entrance. The free private bath is a type that you use after washing in the large public bath, just like La Vista. There are hot springs and others. It's enough because you can use the 30-minute time limit. Each person had a luxury of one place. Ice cream after taking a bath, morning drink, and night crying soba are common. As for the third one, I can't participate yet because late hours are heavy on my stomach. Dinner is a Japanese course. Choose from 6 types of obanzai at the end. All types can be refilled and returned. You can choose either rice or noodles for your meal. It's not a luxurious ingredient, but I'm satisfied with the volume and taste. Breakfast is a buffet. How much is common, but everyone seems to be less interested than Tokyo Bay. I had a lot. The room is a compact twin. Shoji screens and bamboo Towa style I want a space to put my bag. Amenity is also a style to bring what you need in common. No waste. Buffet of tea.The variety was delicious. I was also interested in Arashiyama, but I thought that mutual use would be convenient if there was mutual cooperation such as luggage delivery. I saw several staff members in training, but everyone, including the front manager, was kind and comfortable. If you go to Kyoto again, please stop by.

Umekoji Potel Kyoto

Kyoto Station Kyoto|1.45km from JR Nishioji Station
In early July, I stayed with my grandson (1 years old 3 months) and 5 people with my family, and in late August I stayed with my husband and wife 2 people. In mid August, I booked for 5 people again. Potel is located next to the Kyoto Aquarium, 13 hectares of umekoji Park on the south side, and Jr Shinkansen, limited Express, new rapid trains, and trains stop at each station run south of the park. The old Kyoto City trams run south and west of the hotel, and the west is Royal Park Hotel, Starbucks, Family Mart, Jr umekoji Kyoto Nishi station and Kyoto Railway Museum. There is a parking lot, a front entrance, and a public bath potato hot water in the separate building. The hotel is a large hall (between the children), and adults can enjoy beer, wine and coffee from 15 o'clock by self service. The potel, which is completely different from the hotel until now, is very clean and feels very good. [Rooms] We used the southwest corner twin with a balcony where the park can be seen. From the top of the hotel, the room is lined up on the left and right sides of the corridor from the 2 floor to the 5 floor in the L-shaped building. The west and south rooms have balconies. Since the window is from the floor to the ceiling, there is an open feeling and the room is bright. Cleaning is well done to the net door, window glass and bathroom drain. I am happy to stay for a consecutive night because the storage space of clothes is large. The thick mattress of the baby bed is kind to the child. [Security] Use the elevator with the card key and open the automatic door of the passage. 【Joint Bathroom Potato Yu】 The large and small Yufune is overflowing, so it has a feeling of cleanliness. You can enjoy dry sauna. Milk soap and towels are brought from the room. 【Breakfast】 Japanese style dishes are lined up in buffet style. Let's start eating at 7 when the store opens because it is crowded. [Awaima] There is a large space where parents and children can play and relax by taking off their shoes. You can go up and down the central stairs from 2 floor to 4 floor. [Laundry room] There is a coin type washing dryer on the 5 floor. [Rooftop] You can see Kyoto Tower, the five-story tower of Toji Temple, and the JR Shinkansen.

Hotel Emion Kyoto

Kyoto Station Kyoto|1.32km from JR Nishioji Station
You can go from Kyoto Station by 1 station and take a taxi within 1000 yen. When going to the guest room area from the front desk, there is an automatic door, and it will not open unless you hold the room key, so security is also solid. The elevator is also large. The room was well cleaned, very clean and the room was large and comfortable. The bath was large, and it was not a hotel faucet that was difficult to use, but an ordinary type of easy-to-use faucet. The separate place from the toilet was also good. It was good that the amenities were substantial and there was a bath salt. Free PET bottle water, drip coffee, tea packs are also available. Since it is a new hotel, the facilities are easy to use and there are many outlets, so it was convenient. You can also watch YouTube and Netflix on TV. General hotel rooms have many dim orange lighting, but the main lighting of this hotel is white, so it was good. It was comfortable because I couldn't hear the noise in the next room, the upper floors and the corridor. You can rest assured that the large communal bath has a security card dedicated to women only. There were many kinds of breakfast buffets and it was very delicious. When I checked out, I was asked, ”Did you have any inconvenience in your room?”, but nothing was wrong. I heard about the inconvenience and thought it was to respond quickly. You can leave your baggage for free after check-out, so you can go sightseeing empty-handed. The only inconvenience I felt was ... If you are in a room near the JR track, it is far from the elevator to the room. It was difficult to walk with a heavy suitcase because it was quite fluffy floor material, probably because it was to improve the soundproofing of the corridor. Even if I walked normally, I felt tired feet walking on the sandy beach. It may be unavoidable due to the structure of the building, but it was a pity that I could hardly see the Kyoto Tower from the rooftop, but I could see the trains and Shinkansen, and the mountains 々 in the distance. Tables, chairs and benches are installed, so I think you can spend a pleasant time in spring and autumn when the climate is good. It was a very good hotel, so I would like to use it again.

The facilities in the house are very complete and clean. The Japanese room makes you feel very relaxed You can take a long bath in the bathroom The bedroom is very comfortable and the tatami makes me sleep well. I really feel that staying for one night is not enough There is a supermarket nearby where you can buy some simple food and cook it yourself. We bought a bento and came back to heat it up Then I bought a small meal bag and microwaved it for breakfast the next morning. I spent a day on holiday🤫 I will really come back next time The landlady is a nice person and she also provided us with Kyoto travel guide. A very pleasant stay I will definitely come back to stay in Kyoto in the future. You can take bus 208 to and from Kyoto JR Station Really recommend!

A very good B&B experience in Kyoto~ Transportation: The location and transportation are very convenient. Our two families took a taxi from Kyoto Station and took a business class taxi, which was even more cost-effective. It is also very convenient to go to various attractions from the B&B. Surroundings: There is a large supermarket about two minutes away from home, which is very convenient. A few minutes walk away is Toji Temple. Facilities: A well-equipped B&B, as well as a washing machine with dryer. There are two toilets, which are both very clean and very convenient for our two families to use. Service: caring! The landlord is very nice and attentive, and communication in Chinese is very convenient. Before check-in, they will also send us a PDF, which contains detailed introduction to check-in transportation and other details. The transportation to several famous attractions and small tips are very detailed~ and a heart-warming and delicious breakfast~ The food is super delicious😋The host will also give her reasonable suggestions to make our trip more perfect😍 Kyoto is great, I would like to experience it next time~

Kyoto Station
The B&B is very clean. It is located in a residential area. The residents are quite quiet. There is just a bit of noise from passing cars at night. It is a good place to experience a Japanese cabin. It is especially suitable for a family. It is more comfortable than staying in a hotel. It is spacious and has many rooms. It has a living room and takes into account both privacy and privacy. Family interactions. There are kitchen supplies so you can cook your own meals. The nearby 24-hour supermarket is very convenient for buying ingredients and making Japanese hot pot. You can use Uber to call a car to the door of your room. The landlord responded promptly via WeChat and provided detailed information about the surrounding area. It is recommended that there be a small table next to the sink to store cosmetics, or a tabletop mirror to facilitate putting on makeup on the living room table. Slippers are difficult to wear, and it would be better to provide disposable toiletries. Overall it's worth staying, especially for family travel. Some information for other friends who are making reservations: There is a subway station ten minutes away, but the Kyoto subway is not very convenient. The main bus is the main one, but the bus is a bit laborious. Basically, it is simple and straightforward to use Uber. A taxi from Kyoto Station costs about 1,100 yen, Eikan-do Temple is 3,800 yen, Nishi Honganji Temple is 1,600 yen, Tofukuji Temple is 1,300 yen, and Kiyomizu Temple is 3,400 yen.

We had such a wonderful and memorable stay for four nights. The owners were incredibly warm and hospitable, and they welcomed us into their home as if we were old friends. Our two kids didn’t want to leave all the fun and happiness - they especially loved playing with the owners’ boys every chance they could. On top of it all, the owners hosted our kids at their kiddie pool party that ended with homemade shave ice! We were lucky to stay and meet such amazing hosts.

It was a little far from Kyoto Station and it was hard to reach, but there was no complaint! Overall it was clean, clean, and the bed was fluffy and I slept soundly. Also, I had you deliver the forgotten items on arrival, but I felt a wonderful service spirit because I was sent with a heartwarming message!

The hotel facilities are clean and new, and the location is a bit off, but the bus station is very close to the door, so the traffic is very convenient. A little bit small, but compared to other hotels, it's still bigger.

Introduction to Kyoto

As the former imperial capital of Japan, Kyoto effortlessly blends the old with the new. This city in the Kansai region is renowned for its well-preserved temples, stunning gardens, traditional teahouses, and the historic geisha district of Gion.

Tips for Travelling to Kyoto

Travelers usually fly into Kansai International Airport or Osaka Itami Airport before making their way to Kyoto by train or bus. The city has an efficient network of buses and trains, including a subway system.

The official currency is the Japanese Yen (JPY). Credit cards are accepted in many places, but cash is still commonly used. Japanese is the primary language spoken, though English is understood in many tourist areas.

Popular Attractions in Kyoto

Kyoto is home to an array of UNESCO World Heritage Sites including Kinkaku-ji (Golden Pavilion), Fushimi Inari Taisha, and Kiyomizu-dera Temple. Wander around the Arashiyama Bamboo Grove, or take a walk through the historic streets of Gion.

Kyoto experiences four distinct seasons: humid summers, chilly winters, and mild springs and autumns. The city is particularly popular during spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November) when cherry blossoms and autumn leaves transform the landscape.
