This place is absolutely stunning. The accommodation is fantastic and the staff who look after the rooms really do go above and beyond with cleanliness and catering for all your needs. The location is beautiful with amazing views out into the game reserve. Our Guide - Wonder was absolutely amazing. His knowledge and understanding of the game reserve was 2nd to none. Whether you were interested in the big five or the insects or the birds. He has a stunning knowledge and passion for his work. Thank you wonder you are amazing. we would also like to credit every staff member at Nambiti Hills who were involved in making our experience stunning. I cannot recommend this experience highly enough, and many people who I met told me that Nambiti was one of the best game deserved they had ever stayed at. And on top of this, the food and the beds are also amazing !

We love this place and would highly recommend it to anyone. Nambiti Hills is a luxurious yet relaxed lodge and we have visited a number of times as it is so close to family in KwaZulu Natal. As overseas visitors we enjoyed the beauty of the bush and excellent game drives as well as a bit of spoiling!

Highs: Warm welcome by the Manager Charl- appreciated and thank you for assisting with directions as well. Amazing game drives- THANK YOU Joe. Thumbs up for the chef/ catering team food was great Lows: Towels- were not cotton soft. Shower water wasn't balanced, and we struggled a bit when showering.😔 Dining room setup/ furniture must be upgraded to meet the 5Star rating. Noise from other units was not managed, ladies played music until late and it was unbearable for us. Overall- it was a good experience, maybe we might come back in future with the ladies this time.

I’ve stayed at better places for less. The food was outstanding, but everything else was average. Our game ranger was really bad though, he actually spoiled what would have been a nice trip. I wouldn’t recommend this lodge.

The rooms are great! Spacious, and loved the deco and big bathtub. Biggie our guide was amazing!!! Food was delicious_ took long most days Spa was out of this world- booked 90 minutes but was literally 68minutes, (and no, we were not late, we were early infact), tried to raise it with the manager, who just dismissed it like he did several other complaints

We had an amazing stay at Nambiti Hills game lodge. The accommodation was excellent and the game rides far exceeded our expectations - Wonder would ask what our group would like to see on each game drive and ensure he took us to wherever the animals were expected to be, usually he was spot on. He happily shared his incredible knowledge with us and was very patient. We have memories of a lifetime to cherish.

From arrival we felt exceptional service. The team was accommodating, friendly and made us feel at home. It was a remarkably relaxing (including the spa) experience. Sunrise game drives were a highlight. We will be back!

We are so glad we chose Nambiti! after realising it was 5 hours away from joburg, where we stayed for the first part, as soon as we arrived at the reserve we knew we made the right choice. Lebo, the game driver, was so warm, friendly, knowledgeable and passionate. The ladies and gentlemen in the property are warm, friendly and made us feel so comfortable and welcome. The food was all incredible. The rooms are to die for, the outside shower is cool! The whole experience was incredible and completely outdone our expectations for the trip and we were so pleased we chose to do it. Thank you Nambiti x

Excellent choice - I am 69 yo and have spent many days on safari's including Serengeti. These game drives were tremendous. The food was great. Only two reservations. 1) The process of making a quality espresso could be improved and 2) The red wine was served at 'room temperature' which in summer months is not a great idea. Ideally 18 degrees C. There were two wine fridges in the dinning room - use one for red wine.
